Lee’s Sandwiches is known for their Bahn Mi sandwiches and Vietnamese iced coffee. I chose to skip on the iced coffee and stuck with my usual: their #5 Thit Nuong / Grilled Pork Sandwich. It’s the one and only sandwich I’ve tried at any Lee’s Sandwiches I’ve ever been to, and I’ve grown to love it. Why change something that’s consistently good, right? Their Báhn Mi is mouthwatering and nostalgic for me - being that Lee’s was where I first tried a Báhn Mi sandwich. The crispy outer baguette with a pillowy-soft center that’s filled with savory meat (Grilled Pork for me), crunchy Do Chua (pickled daikon and carrots), fresh springs of cilantro, and spicy chopped jalapeños - now that’s what I call a sandwich! I was in the area and I had to come check this place out because this was the first Lee’s Sandwich drive-thru I’ve seen so I picked up one of their fresh baguettes to pair with my pasta dinner. It was great! Better than grocery store-bought because it was fresh right out of the oven. Pro-Tip: If purchasing their baguette, plan to use/eat it same day. This Lee’s Sandwiches location is nestled in Garden Grove on Harbor Blvd. - just minutes away from Disneyland. There is quite a bit of a wait in the drive-thru but it wasn’t too bad considering they were making my báhn mi made-to-order. You can also dine inside if you prefer. They have plenty of parking spaces at this location. You won’t have trouble finding a spot. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back if I needed a báhn mi fix. It definitely made my tummy happy!

Though Lee's is good, their lack of capable employees is painful. Came here with my 2 year old to get some banh mi to eat for tonight and 1 for lunch tomorrow at Disneyland. The cashier, Thu Van Mai, was standing at the register cold face while I asked my son which banh mi he wanted. When I placed my order, I told Thu to put EVERYTHING on the side, especially the jalapenos. When i got us back to the hotel, I grabbed the#4, ripped it in half to share with my kiddo and took a bite before giving to him and my mouth was IMMEDIATELY on fire. Checked all of the banh mi and they all had jalapenos on them. Checked the receipt and saw that Thu put only the daikon on the side. If I hadn't taken the first bite, my toddler would of gotten a mouthful of jalapeno that I had requested for on the side.

Way too much ice on my coffee, after I gave a sip to it I noticed that they put way too much ice in it, came back 20 min later since there's a lot of traffic, I have an injured ankle by the way, and David who claimed to be the general manager didn't help me at all basically I couldn't get neither a little more coffee and less ice or my money back, I just wasted my money, having too many other options I choose to come here just to get robbed and disappointed, st*pid management don't know about costumer service. Costumer is always right after all it's my money and if I am not happy with your product after trying it, then just give me my hard earn money back and I'll have a good impression of your business... Costumer service S*cks don't know how to fix an issue.

Ordered a BBQ sandwich, first bite and I nearly gaged, it was absolutely horrible. Full of vegetables of all sorts, like you would see on a veggie sandwich. It had a few specks of pork, that looked like chicken. But when I saw a few speaks I mean maybe 6 Quarter inch chunks of pork. It was a veggie sandwich with pork as a condiment. It was without question the worst sandwich I’ve ever bitten into.

I took one bite and returned it, assuming they gave me the wrong sandwich. The manager assured me it was a BBQ sandwich. I opened it and asked him to show me the BBQ, which is when he pointed to the tiny morsels of pork or chicken or whatever it was. They would not exchange the sandwich or refund me. I left it there for them to throw away. In my opinion it was inedible.

I would NEVER go to this place again if I was starving. Horrible food and rude service from the manager who didn’t even attempt to make it right.

Stay clear. I gave one star because it would not allow me to...
