McDonald's — Restaurant in Garfield Township

This is the first review I have ever left, ever! I was not pleased with this McDonald’s what so ever! First off, I am here in traverse city for great wolf lodge, so I called this McDonald’s to see if they had a play place for the kids, she said we do, I said thank you and she said you’re welcome and hung up. So we go there and the kids start playing (there is no one else in the entire place) and about 5 minutes in after we’d been waiting for our food for already 5 minutes, after getting ketchup, drinks and napkins all set up at a table inside the play place area, I sit down and she walks in and says I’m sorry play place closed at 8:30!! Okay that’s fine we picked up our stuff and said change our order to go. Okay just a reminder for everyone, we’re staying ACROSS the street from this place and we pull up and I snuck out a fry before even going into the hotel and they’re cold!!!! My husbands strawberry shake was a third vanilla and my sons chocolate milk was not in his happy meal 😑 needless to say, we will definitely be back to great wolf, but we are never to step foot into this McDonald’s again! Thank you, McDonalds, for making us all feel a little bit like criminals. Your "LOBBY UNDER SURVEILLANCE" sign is more prominently displayed than your allergen information, your "we are pleased to help" sign, and your menu. It is nice to know we are being watched by a giant corporation that is more concerned over losing 10 cents on a soda than getting my meal correct. I understand that beverage thievery is one of the newest plagues to sweep our great nation. It has likely affected your profits in ways I can't even comprehend. It is good to know that your company places the greatest emphasis on preventing this. I sleep better at night knowing that your company mission is "Drink Dispenser Surveillance" and not, you know, making acceptable food or something dumb like that. I have to say that this McDonald's is known for messing orders up, and they for sure do. My daughter absolutely adores McDonald's, or I would not spend any money with them here. There has Maybe been one or 2 times in the last year where I haven't had gotten the wrong thing or my order comes incomplete or the food that has special things like no tomatoes extra lettuce, dies not come as I ordered it. I guess about the best part of it if you don't mind the hassle is they will make the mess ups up to you and provide a new meal and replaces the whole thing. But even on a replacement meal.
