Michaels — Local services in Garfield Township

It's your average Michaels. Nice hours, very good location, and typically has what your average crafter needs to get started. But why is there multiple aisle dedicated to "Cricuts" but their button selection is worse than if I went to Meijer or even Walmart? Horrible costume quality only. In general, their sewing/mending section sucks. There's also these inconvenient sliding shelves that often make it even harder to find what you need. Their yarn is never well stocked, and never good quality. Even the initial stock they put out is not enough for a full blanket unless it's a thicker yarn. However, I do enjoy them often having sales on the yarn, and i do think it's worth checking out while you're there. They also don't have a ton of good options for ribbons. Amazing sticker selection. Great for holiday décor. Can never find a employee when you need them, but also the store is a huge labyrinth, so not really...

I could easily get stuck in this store. Theres a clearanse section in the back and a good amount of acrylic paints, oil paints and kids paints. wood that can be painted, beautifully crafted flowers. the options are limitless. Plain clothes and fabric markers so you can make your own clothes, rough rocks and card educational on all the different stones are here as well. this reminds me of hobby lobby with cheaper prices. theres also books that teach you to draw anime. Another good section were the amount of fabrics and endless amounts of yarn for crocheting. im just saying that i could easily get stuck in this store looking at all the possibility for crafts and creations. For professional artists, there are also some stiff brushes but best bet is to feel the tips to make sure its the right firmness that you need for painting...

i love michaels i got offered a job there but i'm to young so obviously i couldn't accept it. i was offered a job because i found an item that i was looking for before the staff that was trying to help me. i like making arts and crafts and using almost everything from michaels except for when i'm making glue i buy a gallon of glue from michaels and i walk out 18 dollars left in there. i walk out of target with only 12 dollar out of my pocket, and when you say slime workshop i expect actual slime not rubber elmers glue with mix ins. i just called today and on your website it says decorative filler beads available i think oh i can get decorative filler beads for my slime. NOPE i walk in and out with a flash because no decorative filler beads. and i was happy to buy them for 4 dollars but u...
