Shoutout to the Starbucks on Garfield near S. Airport… I work in hospice and some days can feel heavy. Today is one of those days. On top of that, I have a cold and a froggy voice so I stopped into Starbucks to get a drink to coat my throat. When I got to the pickup area, there were TWO drinks waiting for me. Confused, I asked the staff if this was correct. The man who had taken my order said, “oh yeah, that’s for you. It’s one of our teas with a little lemon and honey for your throat.” I’m not a frequent customer and I was only in the shop for a few minutes. This man took notice of my situation, addressed me by name (I was wearing my name tag for work) and filled a need. This truly was a great customer service moment.
