We came to this place and order our food at 7:20 pm than we noticed that the employees were speaking in Italian and laughing but still I could tell they were making fun of someone because they were looking towards to a lady who was sitting in one of the round tables and kept at laughing, at the time she left they started laughing louder and speaking Spanish making derogatory comments about the lady, at that point I understood every word, I was disgusted by the employees in the kitchen. At 7:58 he told us to wait another 20 minutes, after asking him the reason why it was taking so long he argued we didn't ordered at 7:20, but with our phone we proved to him that what we said it was true, I asked him kindly why it was taking so long and he told me that my order was not important for him, that he could remove the order and canceled if I wanted. I walked out of that place without words.
Stop ordering and eating at this place, they have no respect for people in any kind of way. Starting for the tall white man at the front desk who repeatedly wanted to cancel my order instead of solving the problem.
I give them one start because they are no way to give them any less. Don't eat or visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love this place with beyond words. My entire family used to live in two houses right next to each other on Ackerman Ave in Clifton, and we've been ordering from Santoni's for as long as they've been in business. Being in Clifton we had our pick of the litter for pizza, but Santoni's had the best pie and mussels. (Went mushroom more often than anything else) Everyone in both houses had a relationship with Santoni's and got their own personal experience when they called. It was good old fashioned small business, and exactly the way it should be. Whether it was every Friday in time for Carson or at random, the guys at Santoni's would know exactly who each of us were as soon as they answered the phone and didn't have to ask a single question beyond "Hey Jim, the usual?" and they always took care of us. I have a ton of fond memories from when I was much younger of Eddie being behind the counter, and a funny story or two about some very "colorful" orders. Now most of us are scattered across NJ & NY, I'm in Hackettstown, but whenever any of us go back to Clifton, we make a point to grab a few slices from Santoni's.
Do the same, you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI got disappointed with my Last order of chicken āwingsā or should I say āChicken NECKSā. š”
Update 11/11/2022: Iāve been a customer for many year as a Garfield resident and I continued ordering Chicken wings even after my bad luck with my wing orders, but when I placed the order I added a note to remind them not to give necks. I donāt do this as a joke as one of the cashiers got mad at me about the order note and my bad review. He told me that they are a Pizzeria and why I would keep ordering wings. So why are they selling chicken wings. If they sell chicken wings and it comes with necks they probably should add in the menu wings and necks. I would think when you order something from the menu you should receive what you order rather than some random combination of things. They couldāve replied to my review and fix the issue but they didnāt. It is bad that they treat the...
