So this is the 2nd time eating there. Being from Louisiana I know my seafood. The good: First and foremost the staff is great very friendly. The main and only reason I go there are for the grilled oyster when cooked right are good. They are the only ones who offer that in Garland TX. Being from Louisiana I sometimes get a craving for them.
Now for the bad: The first time I went during my lunch break. Super slow took over 45min and the oyster came out under cooked. I told the manager and his statement " that's how they come" no I asked for grilled aka cooked oyster not raw. He unwillingly said he would put them back on the grill. 20 minutes later had my food. More of an attitude problem then anything. Tonight went back with the GF to give it another chance. Order calamari and it was like I was chewing on bubble gum. No matter how much you chewed it wouldn't break down. Definitely old supply. so we told our waiter that we where not happy with them and we ask to substitute for something else. He said he would ask his manager. Manager comes back I explained to him your cali is old not happy with it . He said " that's how its supposed to be" same face as last time. I told him I'll be fine to substitute for something else. He said no. I then say alright I'm not happy I want this taken off my bill it was 11 bucks for that. He unwillingly again grab the plate say "we dont normally do this but I'll take it off your bill." I responded well I dont have to "normally" come here. This place needs to understand the food they sell is expensive and when I'm paying good money for seafood it should be cooked right and somwhat fresh. I'm a realist I understand im right on the coast any more but there is a difference still between expired seafood and transported food and undercooked seafood vs properly cooked. After spending over 60 bucks on a meal I should feel like I got my money's worth and I dont here. Probably...

SAVE your money and go to all you can eat right around the way at SEAPOT . Endless seafood choices HUGE TOP QUALITY CRAB and YOU can cook and BBQ meat yourself at your table ALL for $30 !!!!!!😲👈🏽🤯😋😋. Oh and.. while I was standing there waiting for the owner to come out from hiding... A man came in and told me that he had my same problem here last week .. so I asked him why are you back .. he said to return all the empty shells and make them give us our money worths... Poor guy I can tell he lost money .. because they charge those small kids like adults too.. SHAME ON THIS PLACE. This owner , she is a con.. No one cluster of crab should be $20 , when they are 10.99 lb which is 3-4 clusters... I can get 6-8 clusters for the same $20... All I need is boiling water and seasoning... And I can buy seafood boil seasoning from any oyster bar.. I used to buy the one here... But not even getting that $5 from me anymore. Read moreIve been coming here about once a week, even before the hype, because the seafood is really good. I always recommend this place when others ask of a good seafood place to eat. Well, today I left very disappointed because of bad service from the store manager. I ordered a combo that came with 1/2lb of crawfish and 1/2lb of shrimp. The crawfish today was “dry” and hard to get out of the shell. We expressed to the waitress that the crawfish seemed over cooked and she went to alert the manager. The manager came to the table and stated that all employees were instructed to tell guests that the crawfish are not live but frozen due to them being out of season and that’s why they are dry. We let the manager know that we understood but was not made aware beforehand. She then asked if we wanted to get the crawfish remade and also let it be known that she had to take the crawfish back and could not remove the price of the crawfish because it came as a combo. I expressed understanding and then asked if I could get 1/2lb of shrimp in place of the crawfish since it will still be dry and she said of course and walked away with the crawfish on a plate. When I received my check, I noticed that my ticket was more expensive than the original order. I spoke with the manager again and she stated that she was “accommodating” me by adding the shrimp which she had to charge me for instead of substituting it in place of the crawfish, which she took away. I expressed to her that if she had of told me I would be charged for substituting instead of just saying of course then it wouldn’t have been so much confusion.
