Whoever opens the stores on Saturdays...opened late...I sat at the speaker...and waited...no greeting...I said hello....no response...I waited still...nothing...I tried again and said hello...silence....I kept waiting as I thought of the chicken biscuit I love getting from Wendy's...Still no greeting...no response...just me talking to myself. I drove up to the window and see a headset laying on the counter without a head attached to it. Then, the woman comes over with a box and I think, "Okay, she took off her headset to get some frozen meat from the back and now she is going to take my order once she comes to the window." Instead, she makes direct eye contact with me and laughed to herself as she proceeded to ignore me and take the person at the speakers order on the headset....I don't think I deserved that when I was the one who got there first before the line formed and I waited a few minutes to be served. I wasn't given friendly service. It was rude. And, I am honestly not going back if that is how all the staff treat customers. You wanna work a job because you need something to do with your life? Or, do you want to serve others by humbling yourself and placing their needs on an equal level with your own? Had she came over and said to me, "Can you please give me a moment? I am trying to get everything ready and I know it is taking a little while. I am sorry about the wait!" I would have been fine waiting as long as she wanted me to. Unfortunately, you allow disrespectful people to work in a place where a customer's entire perception of a store is based on a single interaction with the first employee they meet. Retrain, give breaks, open later if you're short staffed, and do whatever you can to keep employees happy and motivated. No one deserves that kind...

I ordered a 10pc spicy nugget after signing up for the app and they wouldn’t let me redeem it without adding more to my order. So I ordered a 20pc garlic parmesan nugget to try it out and repeated it back to him three times to which he rung up as a 10pc which I would say whatever to normally, however upon receiving my order I was met with 10 spicy nuggets… I had to pay the full price of both 10pc chicken nuggets because he refused to help me in redeeming my award AND gave me the incorrect order WITH STALE nuggets. I understand having food on standby, but really? You give me 10 stale nuggets and 10 fresh nuggets that isn’t even my proper order? I am so unbelievably frustrated with this whole interaction, and to add the cherry on top he had so much attitude while speaking to me when I have been nothing but kind towards him. Read moreI know this is just a typical chain Wendy’s, but I felt the need to post about my exceptional lunch experience on 10/12/2020. The ENTIRE staff was very friendly. I was enthusiastically greeted and welcomed in. The cashier and I exchanged in a brief conversation, along with who I assume to have been the manager on duty. I was warned about the fries being hot, as they were FRESH out of the fryer. (Thanks for the headsup!) I don’t even care that they happened to be out of lettuce for my burger, they advised me about it and it’s not that big of a deal. The food was FRESH. The tables, floor, condiment area, drink dispensers AND RESTROOMS were all very clean. It’s obvious the crew on this shift cares not only about their jobs, but about the customers coming in looking for a good fast food experience.
Well done to the team. Thanks for making my lunch a pleasant experience.... at a fast food chain.
