Overall, great little coffee shop. The floor is tile. Which is nice for spills and winter snow cleanup. I loved the variety of breads one could get along with coffee drinks. There is a bathroom in the small shop too which is nice. My only suggestion is comfier chairs and get rid of the high top tables and instead make a space more easily accessible to wheelchairs and/or scooters. Just a thought. I enjoyed my coffee drink though im ashamed to say I dont remember it's name. Keep up the good work.

What a fantastic bakery and coffee shop in lovely downtown Gaylord. The dark roast coffee was robust and there are unique flavors of mixed coffee drinks (blueberry white mocha really tasted like blueberry!) Looked like all coffee drinks come in iced or hot. Pastries were fresh, scones were light and fluffy, croissants were beautifully buttery and the asiago bagel was magnificent. A variety of bread loaves were available for reheating at home.

Very quaint, cute coffee shop in downtown Gaylord. Whether you are visiting from out of town, live here, or stopping through on your way further north - this is a great stop! There is street parking right by it and a parking lot across the street. They have a variety of different speciality coffees and regular. I got a cold brew and it was great - a very smooth cold brew with great flavors. The staff was very personable as well.

We love supporting local businesses and had high hopes for this cute little coffee shop downtown.

We ordered two drip coffees, two muffins, and a savoury and sweet croissant and our bill came to $35.

Service: they were nice and patient as we ordered. The issues came when we tried to get our order. The staff seemed disorganized. They gave us our sealed bag with an incomplete order.

Food: They heated up our croissants (didn’t ask first) and then wrapped the croissants in paper, which made them steamed tough and no longer flaky. We’ve never had a chocolate croissant the kids couldn’t or didn’t want to eat but the kids wouldn’t eat it so the adults tried them and were immediately disappointed. The muffins were great! The coffee was lukewarm but fine tasting.

Atmosphere, it’s a small cafe type coffee shop with a desk you order at, small bakery display and $10 loaves on a shelf on the wall. There are a couple of tables outside and a few inside. It’s...

EDIT: The owner was so professional and absolutely wonderful in response. The refund was more than appreciated! I would love to come and give it another try if in town again. This business seems very polite and honest. Thank you so much for the response!

I’m from out of town and decided to stop here because I enjoy smaller coffee shops. Well, I should’ve stopped at Starbucks. The coffee was fine- but my muffin was AT least two days old. Hard and dry. The croissant my friend got who accompanied me, was rock solid. She was completely unable to bite into it. When spending 20 dollars I expect for the food to at least be edible. Our bagels were doughy and didn’t even seem toasted. I am typically not the person to leave reviews like this but this is really disappointing for spending a collective 60 dollars for pastries and coffee. There was also a literal child working...

We drive from Texas to Michigan every summer to see family and take different routes each time, always trying new coffee shops, and this is one of my favorites. We love supporting local small businesses. This is one you should absolutely support! The coffee is great, they have some good unique themed drinks like the North Shore latte. The people are awesome, the staff and the other customers hanging around and in line. Especially the young man who was our cashier, he had some of the best personal skills, glad to see that in our future generation. They use locally roasted beans, have locally baked goods, and they are right off the main drag of a beautiful old downtown. Too bad for us, but good for them that they are closed on Sundays, or else we would have gone two...
