We loved the previous restaurant that was here. We needed a coffee shop that was on third street. We thought to give this place a try. It was ok and underwhelming.
The line forming was confusing. There were no signs and the staff had to just tell everyone where it was
The menu was all on the TV screens which was nice but there was not a drink menu. Really wanted a fun drink but didnt know what to choice from and there was a screen with a menu that was only available after 11am. So why have it available? Change that to the drink menu
We ordered a tea, coffee, 2 sandwiches, and 1 pastry. It came out ~$60 with tip. The small tea was about 3-4 sips. This was just a teabag and not loose leaf tea. Then I had a latte. It was good but nothing special. My steak and brie sandwich was dry and tough. the pesto was ok but didnt get the creaminess of the brie. The center of the egg sandwich was cold. The pastry was too dense but the flavor was good
The best thing was the service. The staff...

It was dry and tasteless (even the chicken pieces were dried out!) The almond croissant was hard, seemed like it was at least 1-2 days old. None of the pastries are fluffy and fresh looking.I’m suspicious everything is actually frozen and not fresh made from scratch daily. Very overpriced considering… They also have a very odd set up here. Unless you are ordering for take out, you need to be seated at a table and order from the waiter. You can’t pick out what you want from the case, pay for it at the counter terminal, and sit down. This seems tedious and fussy. The menu is expansive (perhaps too much), and not all French as their marketing suggests. I don’t think they know what the concept of this restaurant actually is…Is it fast casual? Is it sit- down ? It’s not set up effectively for both. Rather...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of visiting 318 Bread & Wine, and it’s truly a gem! The exterior is absolutely charming, especially with the holiday decorations. Inside, the ambiance is warm and inviting, featuring lovely orange tones and classic French bistro tables and chairs, creating a great atmosphere. They also have a beautiful wine bar that adds to the experience.
We tried a few bakery desserts and sandwiches, and everything was delicious. The coffee selection was a bit limited, but our cappuccino was excellent. It’s definitely a fun and delightful spot!
Overall, 318 Bread & Wine is a wonderful addition to Third Street. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for great desserts, a lovely lunch, . The owner is also very friendly and gave us a tour during the soft opening. It’s truly a pleasure to have this beautiful place in the...
