The wife and I had a date night and we decided on the fly to go to Chianti's. 3rd St. in Geneva is great and has so much to offer and we knew we would find a restaurant that we would want to try. Chianti's was actually slow and the food did not come quickly and depending on how you like to dine that could be a good or bad thing. In our case this was great, we had a sitter and we were in no rush to get home and personally I hate being rushed by restaurants. The food was good and the service was good as well. The waitress was clearly new and was having a few issues, but was very apologetic and nice, which was not the case with a few patrons who were complaining about minor things like not getting an extra plate and making the staff feel bad when they were more than happy to accommodate. Read moreI ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Terrible, it was flat. Waitress took back and I ordered a glass of house, Pinot Grigio. Again terrible and flat. I ordered a glass of the Santa Margherita Pinot grigio. Once again flat. Was the white wines left open or uncorked or leftover from a different day? Just terrible. I was debating on ordering the manicotti or chicken Parmesan. I went with the chicken parmesan, as I tend to order this dish a lot when out for Italian. Waitress sets my plate down and ask her where is the breaded chicken and pasta with the red sauce? I asked her is this chicken Parmesan? She boldly says “I know you said chicken oregano”. I never heard of chicken oregano, or even seen it on menu. I would never order chicken oregano. She heard me say chicken and who knows what else. All she had to say was she misunderstood and not tell me she knows I said...

Loved the ravioli and the bread sticks on the table with the garlic dressing was probably fav part of the experience, I was not happy at all with the Italian sausage way over price for the size. I always make it a point to try the sausage at all restaurants that offer them in my quest to find the best tasting, and value...
My son got the 4 pepper pasta , was unpleasantly surprised by how spicy it was , the heat took over all the flavor and was ruined , it should accent the pasta not over power it.
My wife got the lasagna, she stated it very good .... As shown many other dishes that were ordered... I'll go back for sure...
