We've been coming here for over 10 years, and I’ve always appreciated the military discount, which in the past applied to clothing and merchandise—but not alcohol. Recently, I noticed some changes in how the discount is applied. Over the years, we've purchased many items because we truly enjoy this place and love what it offers. I’ve consistently used my military discount for clothing and other goods.

However, tonight I was informed that the discount only applies to the free beer for military members, not clothing. When I spoke with the cashier, they insisted that clothing was never discounted. I explained that I had received the discount on clothing multiple times before. Instead of checking or confirming, they dismissed my concerns. Regardless, we still bought the item because my wife wanted it, and we love this place.

That said, I believe the owner and staff should ensure that all employees are properly informed about the store’s discount policies. If you're going to honor and promote military support, it should go beyond a symbolic gesture like plastic soldiers on a briefcase near the door. Everyone who walks in—and everyone who works here—should have clear and consistent information about...

So I'm just leaving this place. I tried to exchange a shirt that had a defective snap in button and the owner wouldn't even give me store credit. The sweet girl behind the counter was left to be the "burden of bad news." The owner didn't even bother to come out to apologize. So because I lost the receipt (it had the tags on it) I'm stuck with a defective $40 shirt that I ended up just GIVING back to them because what am I going to do with it?!?! Needless to say, I will not be shopping here again. Side note: This is where I get my fiancƩs clothes since they carry Howler (my favorite), Duck Camp, and the lovely Sendero Provisions. I've probably spent over $1,000 in clothing because of the brands they carry, not to mention I spent $300 the day I purchased the shirt. Seriously do better. If your going to carry higher end outdoor gear maybe realize that you're dealing with customers who actually...

I had been here once with some family and had a great time. I wanted to bring my boyfriend because I thought he'd really enjoy it. We got up to the bar and the bartender, Jordana, was helping someone checkout. After that, she went to another customer who had gotten there after us. She then proceeded to help 2 other people after we made eye contact with her twice. She never acknowledged us. At one point she was coming towards us, then another customer held his card out, and she turned and went to help him first. We asked the bartender if we could order something and she rudely told us to hang on. We decided to leave, which was really disappointing. I know it's mostly a clothing store, but that doesn't lower my expectation of decent...

Mesquite Creek Outfitters is a neat spot right on the square in Georgetown, Texas. They have a very good selection of craft beer on tap and an upscale outdoor clothing shop. The shop is very clean and well designed. They carry a wide array of clothing and accessories for men and ladies. Their selections of men's clothing features popular brands like Game Guard, Patagonia alongside handmade boots. A few of the items in this store will give you sticker shock. All of the men's shoes and boots I looked at were priced at $400 or more per pair. A great store for the outdoor loving ladies & gentlemen but not a shop for bargain hunters.

A.K.A. Georgetown's Living Room. This place truly brings people in the community together over a drink and hanging out. MCO is a mix of a bar (beer and wine), a boutique and a men's store. They have a good beer selection and most are from local breweries. They offer some food but it is not their strong point...however there are 2 exceptions - 1) the meat and cheese tray is great AND 2) they bring in great food trucks on the weekends! Truly love this place!
