Lousy food and ambivalent service . We went here for New Year's Eve expecting a nice meal. We ordered the calamari appetizer, rack of lamb, and Cajun chicken with andouille sausage. The calamari was extremely oily and salty. The two condiments that it comes with had very little flavor so we had to ask for regular cocktail sauce. The rack of lamb came out charred on the outside and raw in the center. Not rare...RAW. It also did not taste like lamb at all. They took the lamb back and asked if we wanted something else but told us we have to hurry because they're closing down the kitchen. It's New Year's Eve and the restaurant is still full of diners. I really wanted to order a steak but felt like they were just gonna throw it on the grill and not cook it very well and rush it out to us. We had planned on having enough leftovers for another meal, but decided to just share one dish. We were then hoping to have a nice dessert, as they have many options to choose from. The waiter brought us the dessert menu and even came back a couple times to see if we had decided yet. When we finally made our decision. It turns out the three items we were choosing between Had components not available anymore to make them as advertised. It would have been nice if the waiter had told us in advance that certain desserts weren't available. We got the carrot cake minus the white chocolate sauce it was supposed to come with . We did not get a single apology from the waiter or manager about the poorly made rack of lamb. It was nice that they did not argue about taking it back, but it just seemed like they didn't care very much. I understand that people don't wanna be working on New Year's Eve and want to spend time with their family or friends, but at work they are supposed be trying to help their customers have a nice New Year's Eve. The attitude that I picked up from all the employees at this place was "hurry up so I can get...

Really , really disappointing. We made reservations to go to Wildfire on 12/27 to celebrate our wedding. We'd received a couple of positive recommendations from nearby shop owners and saw an overwhelming number of positive Google reviews. Seemed like a safe bet, right? We arrived at 4:00 straight from the courthouse. We were seated in a booth and met our waiter shortly afterwards. We ordered a mixed drink and an iced tea, then ordered a 10oz beef tenderloin oscar (medium well) & a cobb salad. BTW, there were no specials and they were out of several things. I get it, given the supply chain and all. Took several minutes after we ordered for the baked bread to appear. My tea was empty for 15 minutes before the waiter brought our meal and recognized it needed refilling. The steak & salad arrived together. The steak was 2 levels undercooked and the oscar sauce was chunky. We asked the waiter to return the steak to the kitchen to cook further. The description of the $21 cobb shown on the menu did not match what we got. The chicken meat was cool, shredded monterrey jack and cheddar along the side of the bowl and a sliced hard boiled egg on either side. The blue cheese dressing in 2 small metal cups was ordinary. I nibbled on that while we waited another 10 minutes later for the steak to return. It showed up still undercooked and the oscar sauce was still chunky. We declined to eat it and asked for a check. The Manager came by to offer his apologies and a free desert which we also declined. So in the end, we'd rate the food a generous 2 and the service a 3. Oh, they never mentioned our special event tied to the reservation. We must have caught Wildfire on a bad day, but sadly we won't return to find out. This is the best Georgetown...

Came here while looking for Brunch options in Georgetown. It was on a Sunday afternoon, so was expecting a wait, but was able to make a reservation that same morning. Upon arriving, the place was full, but our table was waiting as expected. Waiter immediately came over to take the drinks order and explain the brunch options. This was a party of 8, so the orders varied, but most go the Bloody Mary's or a cocktail. The drinks came out within 5 minutes and the first round of Bloody Mary's were great, but the 2nd round was extremely watery and lacking of much flavor.

For the meals, a little bit of everything was ordered, but the popular choices were the French Toast, Chilaquiles, Blackened Tuna Salad, and Migas. We also ordered the Pozole and Roasted Corn Shrimp Chowder. With the breakfast options, they brought out a small plate of fruit. For the table, they brought out some scones. The scones were really good, they were warm, fresh, and very flavorful. The fruit was just a few pieces on a plate, but was ok. The Pozole and Chowder were both really good. However, I was disappointed in the Chilaquiles as the chips weren't cooked with the rest of the ingredients, but were cold tortilla chips out of bag and the ingredients served on top similar to nachos. The beans and potatoes served with them were pretty bland as well. I tasted the Blackened Tuna Salad and the the tuna was cooked perfectly and the other ingredients were fresh.

Overall, the food was ok, but the consistency of the dishes were off. The Bloody Mary's varied a lot between rounds and some identical dishes came out came out with a biscuit while others didn't. Service was good and staff was courteous, but food and drinks were...

The meal: 10oz Ribeye, loaded baked potato, collard greens, a pint, and a Jameson. The quality of the meat was fantastic, I really did not care for the sauce that came on the steak, will note that and request it without next time. It wasn't bad, It just didn't really add anything and was a distraction from the otherwise excellent piece of meat. Perfectly cooked otherwise. Loaded potato was standard but tasty. The collard greens were amazing, honestly the best I have ever had and the star of this meal which is saying a lot. The service: I was greeted immediately by the friendly front desk staff, my reservation was ready and was promptly seated. My waitress was young but worked with enthusiasm and ensured I had all I needed, less a fork, but that was funny more than anything. She was friendly, smiled alot and made quick work of her tables. Thoughts: A good meal in a historic location, I don't think they are normally prepared for single diners. My table was in an awkward spot and I did have to move a bit as there was a large table next to me and the waitress seemed to be having trouble working her way around me. Might try the bar side next time. It is also a bit loud but as there were many diners this is to be expected. Overall the experience was great. 5 stars for service, location, and quality.

I stopped in here for dinner before catching a play next door. We sat in one of the front dining areas. I got the pork tenderloin with chorizo roulade and my friend got the cordon bleu chicken. She also got peach cobbler..heavy on the nutmeg/cinnamon and no ice cream 🙁Pork tenderloin was okay...the meat was a little tough but still edible and the green beans and mashed potatoes were delish. I wish I got the pork belly appetizer....overall I did enjoy my experience. The things that hurt it were that my waitress kept disappearing and it seemed over crowded. Spacing needs to be worked on the tables are so packed in there you can't get around. My friend had to keep ducking bc she thought the waitress was gonna hit her head with her tray, a man sitting at the table behind me had his chair back pushed up against mine and as he sat into his chair mine raise up! A couple with a stroller came by and we had to get up out of our chairs so they could go by to sit at their table. I suppose it isn't a deal breaker but they could probably remove some tables so their patrons could enjoy their meal. If there's a next time, I'll be asking for a booth!
