As many of you know, I just do five star reviews. Anything short of that I don’t even bother. OMG, the baked bear knocked it out out of the park! I’m a big ice cream lover, and I was majorly impressed with this place ! Maurisa was my ice cream designer! I wanted her input on what she felt with some of the best combinations there. So they make you an ice cream cookie sandwich like you’ve never tried before. I had a gooey butter cake cookie and then the ice cream I had was call blackberry crumble, and I had a topped with whipped cream and caramel. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommend for the quality and service with top notch. It’s crazy because they put the ice cream within the cookies and then they warm the cookies and you would think that the ice cream would melt but they put it in just enough that the ice cream just gets a little soft but it’s not melted. I see there’s other towns that the big bear is in, but if you’re in this area, don’t hesitate to stop in! You will not be disappointed!🤤

My kids really enjoy going to The Baked Bear! We have been several times and have tried different menu items. It's fun to create ice cream sandwiches and the portions are big enough to share. Everything is good, but not the best tasting cookies or ice cream you can find in town, in my opinion. The cookies are just ok and the ice cream isn't anything special. It's putting them together that makes this place stand out and be different than other dessert shops. I noticed that the first time we went in, the staff did not offer to help or explain how it works. This seems to be the norm every time, so either be prepared to know your order before you come in or to take time reading the instructions on the board. It can get really busy on the weekends, so be prepared to not have anywhere to sit and eat as well. When we have gotten a table it's usually always dirty. Maybe they don't have enough staff to both clean and be behind the counter. It's pretty pricey ($25 for two) but worth a try!

Stopped in here for my birthday desert after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. What a pleasant surprise The Baked Bear was! Came highly recommended and it sure did not disappoint. Great vibe, and love the simplicity of what they serve. The portion sizes are huge so make sure you save room for desert if you're coming here. Plenty of options to choose from between cookies, brownies, ice cream, and toppings. I do love the fact that you can mix and match cookies for each side of your cookie sandwich. On this particular visit i had the funfetti cookies along with some good old fashioned vanilla ice cream-it was delicious and so filling. Service was good, and there are few spots to sit inside and outside. This is a must try if you're in Georgetown. Look forward to coming back and trying other ice cream and cookie combinations.

The ice creams are great, the brownies are decent, but the cookies are phenomenal! My favorite cookie so far that I recommend to everyone is the gooey butter cake cookie - it's gooey, buttery, has a nice chew with crisp edges and could go with any flavor of ice cream. Their ice creams are always nice and creamy, and their staple flavors are all delicious. Their seasonal flavors can be hit or miss sometimes, so definitely try samples before ordering. I do have a couple complaints. First, it's a bit pricey - a scoop of ice cream with a cookie is about $9. However, ice cream does seem to be a bit expensive down here no matter where you go though, and they do make their cookies and brownies fresh in house (always smells amazing in there lol). My other complaint is is their hot fudge is not hot fudge, but just chocolate sauce from a bottle so I don't recommend getting that as a topping. Depending on the day and time of day, it can be a little difficult to find close parking because it's part of the Georgetown Square, but the parking is...
