This was all around a horrible experience. This was by far the worst food I’ve ever had from a captain d’s. I paid 31.17 for some garbage. I ordered fish and chicken dinner and 4 piece catfish dinner. Nothing tasted fresh. The corn and okra tasted old. The hush puppies were cold & tough for some reason. When I say everything tasted horrible I mean everything I ordered. Who ever put them okra in my box should’ve know better they were burnt, cold, and old. And it was literally less than a handful. My dad had fish & chicken. Again they both were cold & hard. He kept complaining how hard it was. I’m so disappointed. While waiting on my food I see a German roach not 1 but 2!!! On the counter in the freaking day time at that so imagine what they’re like at night!!! The girl was able to kill one and then she didn’t even wipe the counter at all!!! I should’ve gotten my money back then! That was my sign to run! I’m calling the health department on Monday. This is unacceptable. Then another employee, she works In the kitchen she had her two children in there all over the store.like what type of place is this really? she walked past talking on the phone as I’m standing at the counter and go straight to fixing some food. It happened so quick I know she did not wash her hands. You all need to seriously need to get more staff retrain current staff b/c they don’t give a F about service or that horrible food that they’re serving and I can tell that from all the one star reviews that you all have someone in that store needs to take this seriously. Lastly, on top of all that they got my orders wrong. I wish I was making this up, but unfortunately, I’m not. It was an overall horrible experience and I will be reaching out to corporate as well. Times have changed. Captain D’s was one of my first jobs in high school and back then they did not tolerate poor service. Read moreOn 5/21/18..I visited this store with a friend..I knew I shouldn't had given this place another chance but I did. I will never go back again..we waited more than 30mins for our food & once we got it it looked like it had been sitting for a while..very dry.. it was another couple in there getting their money back cause they were in there well before us but yet we got our food 1st & remind u we waited more than 30 mins..but the thing is..the cashier was mad with someone so when it was time for her to bag our food she was throwing the food in the bag..so once she put the salad in the bag with the hot food my friend was like can we have a bag for the salad..the cashier said with an attitude 'I didnt know u wanted another bag'..1st off the salad is usually put in another any other time...so then it begun..the cashier is arguing back & forth very unprofessional..then the people from the back came up to the front after 10mins of arguing..I'm talking like the cashier wanted to fight saying send me home send me home I dnt give a f...wow..so I asked where is the manager cause he needs to come up here to get control of the situation..then this boy who wasnt even wearing a hair net that was fixing food name Calvin said I am the manager..We all was in disbelief..I didnt understand why he didnt tell the girl to go to the back to calm down & let him take over..but no he let the girl stay up front still talking trash cursing & everything while there is a store full of people..all of us was like hell no..this is some bs..everybody was complaining the wait the food was old everything...a lot of people were saying they didnt like to come here because of the service & the food not being fresh..this captain ds is very lucky that they are the only 1 around so people come here only because of the deals..but that will soon change if they do not get this together there will...

Management just don't care the AM and GM are rude and poorly train there employees then get mad at them for simple mistakes then write them up or fire them the first chance they get . You keep treating you best employees like trash you will forever keep replacing them this particular store tends to get very busy. Me I'm a very patient person I have been in customer service for 10 years and I have never seen a more unprofessional and unsanitary environment. They will literally see you wrapped around the building and watch you but as soon as you take a second for your self lts a issue . Mind you we get no breaks( including minors) they have a/c issues and be short staffed all the time . If you feel like you hot or even gonna pass out they don't care . I was a supervisor there I loved my crew and my customers alot of them told me I deserved a raise or they got you working by yourself again. I would go above and beyond with no complaints yet I was disrespected for nothing I deserved way better then I received and that's why I was blessed with a better job and opportunity. Treat people how you wanted to be treated . Be glad for growth cause the old me would of did something else then write a review for the way y'all try folks like everybody to be played with. I pray that the district manager replaces both of them because they are truly the problem of that store .
P.s the gm rarely wears gloves and serves customers bad fish. I never ate from there unless I prepared my own food. Also do not let your children go work there for there first job they do not care about our children only what we can...
