UPDATE: Employees are MUCH nicer now. However, they seem to close at random times and definitely not when Google claims. Today it was supposed to be 9pm. I went by around 7:30pm and they had closed it all down and were cleaning up to leave. The employee said they close at 9pm on weekends but 8pm during the week. However, they closed today at 7:30pm so who knows??
At least he was super nice about it, though! I can handle bad news as long as the delivery isn’t also awful. 7/13/2023
INITIAL REVIEW: On the rare occasion I can purchase the cinnamon rolls, they are great. That’s the only reason I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1, which was my first inclination. Unlike others, I haven’t dealt with any rude employees but they are definitely not the type to go the extra mile, by any means. They’ve always been very nice to me but not nice enough to make the appropriate amount of rolls or get in even the slightest rush about it. The hours listed on Google are wrong, so I found out tonight when I stopped by around 7:30pm. I was told they close at 8pm and they didn’t have a single thing left over to sell me and the idea of making anything was apparently absurd and wholly out of the question, even though they had 30 minutes left. There were two stacks of minis I offered to buy but the employee said they had been sitting out all day and wouldn’t want them. I don’t know if they are allowed to take the leftovers home or not so I won’t bother to speculate on motives. She did offer to sell me a 6 pack of classic rolls for a discounted price of $23 but that seemed very pricey to me for rolls that had also been sitting in a box for at least an entire day, if not longer. Sadly, like so many others, this is by far the closest location to where I live, even though its not close by any means. I try to stop by on my way home from working on film sets in and around Atlanta but 9 times out of 10, I’m sent away empty handed. Honestly I just don’t get why they don’t make more instead of making a small amount and running out almost immediately, then forcing ppl to wait 30 plus minutes for them to make one more small rack! Why not make MULTIPLES?? Especially when you have at least 5-10 ppl waiting on them! I would really love to open my own Cinnabon in my town and become a franchisee. I think as long as the employees are halfway competent, we’d...
Read moreI would not recommend anyone to this place. Very rude customer service and poor management. My wife and I went in to use our corporate coupons for a drink and two 4 count cinnamon rolls. We gave the lady the coupons and she went to get the manager. The manager told the employee to go ahead and make the drink and box up the cinnamon rolls. The employee handed us the bag and while we were waiting for the drink the manager came and told us we had to pay even though the coupons were for free drink and 4 count cinnamon rolls. She told us that they are a franchise and they dont take coupons. We told her that we have used coupons before and never had an issue. The manager called her manager and she told her to tell us no. I asked to speak to her on the phone and the manager at the store said she'll give us her number. The manager grabbed the bag out of my hands and told the employee to to put the food back in the tray after I had already handle the food. I called the number the manager gave me and she told me they would not honor the coupons and that we would have to drive to Cumberland mall to use them. I hung up the phone and asked for the coupons back. They had wrote all over the coupons saying not to use them and now I can't use them at the other location. We asked for her name and was in the middle of talking to her and she ignored us and walked off. We will never eat...
Read moreTheir Cinnabon location at Towncenter Mall is worse than a pop-up store. The customer service there is hit or miss. They open when they want. They close when they want. Do not go on the operation times posted on Google or even their website because you will be disappointed. No matter the time of day you show up at their counter, they never have a full display.
For a food establishment to have very small amount of food on display is insulting. The packs are never out. The Aunt Annie's case is ALWAYS empty. If you do go there & see a nice supply of Cinnabons out, you might as well go and play the lottery because that will be your lucky day. When there are bons, this location is really skimpy with the frosting to the point that there is no frosting. Their Cumberland location is the complete opposite of this Kennesaw location.
What I find astonishing is that Cinnabon's headquarters is in Atlanta & yet no one from Corporate, including their executives, have been out to their Kennesaw location to investigate & make it better. This has been going on for years, so this is nothing new. I find it hard to believe that their Corporate offices do not know anything about this. They know, but they just chose to ignore it. The mere fact that Cinnabon is a brand & this location is tarnishing that brand, and for them to not do anything about it says more about the company than...
