This is the closest Crumbl to us, and it’s unfortunately one of the worst in the city. The past several times we’ve gone there, staff have been very rude/short with us when we order. This is especially sad since 99% of the time we do pickup, and therefore our interaction with staff is limited- yet they never fail to make a bad impression with us. However, the below scenario takes the cake for how awful this location is:
A hurricane just came through Atlanta and knocked the power out of this Crumbl Toco Hills. Totally out of their control, so naturally they would be closed. But why was this not indicated on the app? Why was I allowed to place an order, then drive all the way out there (normally 20 minutes but this commute can double easily if there’s traffic), only to find out they were closed? All of the other Atlanta locations were open, so it’s not like this was a region-wide crisis for the company. So, canceled that order. The next day, I checked the app, and we noticed that certain items were sold out, indicating that this place was open. We placed a carry out order again, seeing as there was no indication that this store had any sort of issues. Drove out there again, and power is STILL out, yet people are going in and out of the location. I walk in, workers are back behind the counter baking cookies. I tell them I have a pickup order. They rudely say “it’s delivery only, you have to cancel the order. We have no power.” So, A. You have no power, yet you’re open and baking cookies, and B. There’s YET AGAIN no indication in the app that this location isn’t accepting carry out orders??? Several other businesses today (my gym, Walgreens, and others) indicated on Google or their respective apps that they were closed due to inclement weather. Why can this location not do the same? The workers really had the audacity to give me even more attitude when I pointed these things out to them.
It’s really sad, as the other Crumbl locations are 30-40 minutes away from my house. Guess I just won’t be going to crumbl for a while- at least, certainly not...
Read moreThis was the worst bakery experience I have ever had. They were totally disorganized. I ordered on the app. I went in expecting them to call out or ask me my name or order number, and then give me my food. Instead there were like 40 people all crammed in to this tiny store. There was a line for app order pick ups and two workers would trashed turns asking people at the front of the line what they had ordered. People could have said anything, and maybe not even made any purchase on the app at all, and they presumably would've just given them whatever order they claimed to have placed. And the workers weren't even coordinating who was filling which order - one girl told her other to the first guy who asked her, and then when the second guy asked her she told it to him too. I asked her why she didn't just tell the second guy that the first guy was already putting together her other for her, and she said she didn't mind if they gave her two orders for the price of one. Also, people often just walked right to the front of this line and declared their orders ahead of people who had been waiting on it for up to 25 mins. It was complete chaos and pandemonium. I will never...
Read moreUpdate: Dec. '24. Yeah, I contacted the owner & got no response or my refund, so your canned reply is just that. Original Review: Finally tried a cookie to see what the hype's about. Turns out nothing! I bought 1 of their regular chocolate chip cookies. When I got home and bit in, I found it to be mostly raw. Now, I like my cookies soft, not crunchy, so for me to say that it was raw should tell those of you who like your cookie crisp to stay away! I'm talking only 25% of the way baked. I counted only 10 chocolate chips in the whole thing (they're about 4" diameter), so I paid more than $4 just for dough. Atmosphere? I don't know who is finding a great environment here. I went on a Sat. evening and there were at least 12-15 people waiting for their order in the small, cramped pick-up area to the right. The only thing that was a plus about my visit is that I had no line to order at the kiosk, and it came out in 1 min. maybe because I only ordered a...
