Dominican Restaurant and International Food — Restaurant in Georgia

Normally I do not write bad reviews but this experience above all others that I've had in the past had super exceeded. I came in November 24th of December this past month to order some food. I was told that I would have to wait 20 to 25 min before he got my order because the chef in the back was busy. this I can understand even though the food that I wanted to order was over easy egg and fried cheese with already made rice i still was patient. I told the server i will wait in my car and will be back in 20min she said ok. I came back before then the woman had already closed the shop and was cleaning up. She said we're closed. I reminded her that she was the one that relayed the message from the cook telling me i would have to wait and that i did just that and that i told her i would Be waiting in the car i pointed out to. Her reply was we're closed. If they couldn't get to my order that would have been fine but at least have the decency to say that. I waited on x-mas eve for food they had no intention on preparing. Not to mention i was catching a flight out that evening. I could have went somewhere else. I referred them in the past but never again. I've told those i referred and they too will not be back. There's another dominican resturant a little further out that i found. They are 10 more minutes from where i live but they are so nice and very attentive. Really great customer service. Me and my friends will be going here...

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT COOKED HOT FOOD! I’m Dominican coming from a Dominican city, who knows about food. This place is disgusting. The first time I went they sold me cold food. I just went today. First of all, the waiter tries to tell me I should get a picadera instead of the broiled chicken a rice I was talking about. So they don’t know what they are doing. I ASKED them if they had rotisserie chicken, they say yes. I waited 30 MINUTES for something I thought was ready! I just got home and the chicken is pink! Not well done, so they really tried to cook this chicken in 30 min. If your a real DOMINICAN, you know damn well we don’t eat pink chicken. I call them to complain and they have the audacity to tell me I’m wrong the chicken was cooked. This is a horrible representation for Dominicans here...

So I have been here several times, the first time I was not really impressed. The rice was kind of hard, the flavor was okay. However my husband really enjoyed it, so of course we went back. The second time we ate here the food delicious! It reminded me of home cooking, we ate something different but still had rice and it was not hard at all. Have not had any other issues with the food except for that first time.Very good, it reminds me of my mother's home cooking. We had a side of tostones each time and they were made differently. I believe it depends on who is in the kitchen. For the most part, I think they have worked out all of the kinks, the food is great! Lots of flavor and definitely authentic! Must...
