I absolutely will not return to this HomeGoods Iāve shopped the store for the past eight years and today marks the second occasion that Iāve essentially been accused of swapping tags.
Mind you, I have a receipt the receipt matches the sticker on the item and the item was purchased from the exact same location. If you look at the tag, it hasnāt been mutilated or altered in anyway. The general description states kitchen utensils on the receipt and the sticker so the description not matching is something internal in their computer that I would have no way of knowing that that is right or wrong before purchasing it. Last I checked, the people responsible for the description of the tag are the employees so if these bozos canāt get it right in their system when the item scans, how the description not matching is my problem. Twice now Iāve been denied a return because of this. Iām offended and Iām disgusted and quite frankly if this location has this much of an issue with theft, they need to employ better measures and have more accountability on the employees. I took it to another HomeGoods and they accepted My only take away is prejudice management and abuse...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEmployees werenāt very friendly or helpful. They wouldnāt take a bag of coffee back that tasted horrible even though I had the receipt. Manager said they canāt take back perishable items, which strangely enough isnāt listed anywhere in the HomeGoods return policy. Called the Canton location and ironically enough, they said theyād take it back. Drive all the way to the Canton location and guess what? Thereās no HomeGoods sticker on the coffee bag so the employees try to find the price in their system and they can only find one price which is half of what I paid at the Kennesaw location. Shouldnāt the price be the same for an item in the system, regardless of location? Should have known to stay away from this location when I saw several items missing price stickers. They need to learn a lesson from literally any other major retail store that knows the value of customer service. Called the manager after this whole experience and she didnāt offer any way to rectify the situation. Youāre a multimillion dollar retain chain and you canāt refund a customer $8.99? Lost...

My credit is ruined because an employee lied to me and decieved me into opening a credit card account after I asked her SEVERAL TIMES, is it a credit card. She said no, its just an account and you don't have to use it or sign in. I did not want to sign up for a credit card, i didnt even want the discount she was offering for the account. I would have paid in full if i knew it was a credit card, i was prepared to pay in full but she kept telling me about the discount she could give me if I signed up. Now my credit score, that I worked hard on for the past 3 years, is ruined! The trouble i am going through to try and fix this employees deceitfulness is ridiculous. NEVER coming here again !!!!! A HORRIBLE way to treat a customer, who told you she was getting married and money was budgeted for items for our new home. This is the worst wedding...
