I wouldn't give this facility a 1 star if 0 stars was an option; it is filthy. My service dog joins with me often, and sits quietly in the corner. Never a comment or question from the employees.
Yesterday, late afternoon, with my dog, I had a combo meal after waiting almost 30 minutes; typical. I went into the men's room to fill my dog's water bottle, and was shocked the water from the sink faucet was brown.
Upon returning to the dining room, I decided on a hot fudge sundae before heading out. Standing at the cashier for over 5 minutes while I watched the gentleman playing the role of cashier sweep the kitchen floor, not once glancing over to see whether a paying customer might be waiting, I also had the chance to watch the young girl playing "drive-through" attendant stuffing her mouth with french fries, licking her bare fingers, while at the same time filling customer orders. I yelled out, "hello!" In an attempt to bring some kind of sanity to this dreadful excuse for a "fast food" restaurant. I asked to speak to a manager.
Upon explaining what I had just witnessed, a woman, whom I later learned was acting manager, I was immediately told my dog was to be removed if I could not provide his support certification; no comment on the employee enjoying mouthful after mouthful of french fries that were finger licking good. Pun intended.
A man walked out and told me he is the General Manager. He addressed my dog and certification, as well. No comment on the girl stuffing her chops, licking her fingers of french fry oil as she handed drive-through customers their share of the delicious treat. I commented on what I had witnessed, also pointed to the bottle of brown water from the sink faucet in the men's room, to which the manager woman asked me to leave the store. Again, pointing to the health risks of her employee eating fries out of the bend, "she's a kid" the manager exclaimed. Little did she realize the reflection on her as a "manager" spoke volumes.
Once the girl realized I was complaining about her, she began screaming, "leave! Goodbye! Goodbye!". I sat down to enjoy my sundae as this brat walked an order outside to a waiting vehicle. Upon returning, she walked over to me and said, "leave before I punch you in the face". A young boy from the kitchen walked out and asked me to please leave. I did just that.
Sitting in the parking lot with McDonalds headquarters on the phone, I watched the same "cashier" use the same broom he was sweeping the kitchen with, sweep the booth seats, then proceed to sweep of individual seats in the dining area. He then tied full garbage bags alternately while delivering meals to waiting customers. Not one time did I observe anyone wash their hands.
Better Business Bureau and Cobb County Health Inspection has both heard from me and I'll be damned if I seek out this or any other "fast food" joint again.
Anybody heard of COVID in this place of utter stupidity and zero leadership?
Oh, and to the "manager" woman, the small fries in a bag, AND the vanilla cone you gingerly sat on the counter for a waiting customer, the cone sitting on nothing but the filthy counter you set hundreds of meals on a day, was equally disgusting. Had that been my cone, you'd have remade it and wrapped it in some kind of sanitary paper before handing it directly to me from your...
Read moreI'm through with this location! I show up to this particular location every morning because it is close to my home and convenient. I've always gotten great customer service and have written positive reviews in the past for their employees. I ordered and iced coffee on the app which I do almost every morning at this location and checked in before getting to the drive-thru. I told the employee at the drive-thru that I had a mobile order and gave her my name and order number which she then told me to pull up to the window. When I got to the window, they asked me what was my order then proceeded to tell me that they didn't have it and to drive back around and get in line. First off, if you didn't have my order, don't tell me to come to the window. Why would you tell me to come to the window only to then say you don't have my order and get back in line when I'm on my way to work. Now you're inconveniencing me. I showed them my phone with the order number and drive through confirmation and they said as long as it's not in our system we can't help you. At this point, it's not about the coffee, it's the principle. This is the same McDonald's that has given people extra sandwiches, extra fries, extra drinks, etc. I'm not even asking for something for free. I showed them proof of me ordering B coffee and ask can't you just give it to me because here is where I purchased it, and they still refused saying if it's not in my system, you got to leave. The girl explained that its policy and procedure that she can't just give me the coffee and that there is no proof that I purchase the item and that I could have been faking the order, even though I'm showing her the proof on my phone. I have worked at McDonald's before so don't play me and tell me you couldn't just give me the coffee. I show up to this location every morning as a loyal customer and now they treat me as though I'm brand new. And then, she walks away and sends a guy over. This is the same guy that I have said good morning too, thank you for my item, take care and enjoy your day, and now this fool says you got to move or I'm calling the police. I see you guys almost every morning and you mean to tell me that you're going to call the police over a hazelnut iced coffee that I showed you proof that I paid for??? Really dude. That's how you feel? They could easily have accommodated me but they chose not to because they took it personal and refused to do it. Again, they mess up orders and give out free food all the time. Actually paid for mine and they couldn't even give me a iced coffee that I showed them proof it was paid for. I should have stood my ground and waited for the police to arrive but my job was more important. These people obviously don't know the definition of loyal customers. You just lost a customer for Life over a HAZELNUT...
Read moreThe absolute worst place I've ever been to the managers do not want to work. They do not want to be there and the teams that they have working there. They do not get to do their duties correctly. All it is is burgers and fries. It is not rocket science. You make a burger. Sometimes you have no onions. Sometimes you have no pickles etc. But you make the burger. You wrap the burger, you box the burger and you slide it forward. You need to have someone on the fries at all times and make sure that they are dropping them correctly. Make sure that they're dropping them beforehand. The manager there needs to always keep an eye on a swivel or head on a swivel to where they can look outside to see if they're drive-thru is wrapped around the building. What could also concern other guests when they're trying to leave? This is a horrible establishment and something needs to be done just because your managers there are older and age does not mean that they are good managers. The world needs to understand that age no longer is a factor when it comes to managing places. There are 19 to 20-year-olds that are managing places a lot better than 40 plus year olds. Why you say? Because that means that these 19-year-olds have an organizational skill about them that is 10 times better than a 40 plus year old. There's something wrong with this McDonald's structure. There's something wrong with the way that things are ran here. No McDonald's or no fast food industries drive through should take this long. Everything should be ready and the manager should have everybody pre-cooking food and make sure that they're drive-thru minutes. Take no longer than 2 and 1/2 to 3 minutes per car. There's no excuses for this!
And I actually just got done looking at some of the other reviews for this McDonald's and I see people putting five stars five stars five stars but not actually writing a review. This goes to show that this is employees. Just copy and pasting or managers. Copy and pasting a picture of someone building a Google account or an email account so that they can post files for reviews. This place is horrible! And if you really take the time out to look at the people who supposedly post five star reviews, you'll actually see what I mean. This place is absolutely...
