My birthday party experience with Adventure Air Sports left a lot to be desired. The initial setup and confirmation of the birthday party was excellent. The day of the party we arrived and we met our Party Host S.G. (Excellent), she got everybody checked in and ready to go. The other party host was extremely rude! She took our party supplies and went to the party room putting our party supplies on tables without even asking what we wanted where. I explained that we were to have two party tables because we were having our daughter’s and son’s parties at the same time. She (the other party host-thin with two long braids) argued (Basically said whoever we talked to didn’t work there although I made my reservation with the staff at the facility. She didn’t care what I had to say and had an extremely rude attitude and disposition!) with us about the setup while we were trying to enjoy the party. Finally, we got past that and we had to go up and fix the setup while our 10yr old son and his friends sat with unicorn plates in front of them. (There was a male party helper who was very nice and helped us get it switched out as well) It was EMBARRASSING to have such an unorganized party! She totally ruined the celebration! I paid good money (we had a large group of children) for it to be totally ruined by one of their party hosts with a nasty and rude attitude. No manager to be found to discuss these issues with. The jump time ran smoothly, but our party was in shambles!! I hated we even spent the money on a celebration with a staff who could give no care about our celebration. The only bright spot was S.G. who tried to make it better after her coworker basically ruined our whole trip. My recommendation is to stay away from booking parties-unorganized and rude staff with no...
Read moreHad a birthday party here and pizza and drinks were not brought up to us until 15 minutes before our time was up giving 15 minutes to eat, drink, have cake, and open presents which we didn’t even get to do and took them to the car to finish at home. That being said when we got in nothing was set up but 2 tables for a party of over 30 people so most people just had to stand or sit on the side of the wall when there was at least another 10 tables not being used sitting off to the side. Our party host didn’t pass out drinks or pizza I had to get up and start doing it before he took them from me and passed out a few then would put them down and stare off over the railing ignoring everyone so I had to get up again and finish his job. Got over charged for jumpers who he game wrist bands to (people who showed up a little late and didn’t realize what they were for) for jumping who in fact did not jump. I spent maybe a total of 15 minutes being able to jump with my daughter in her birthday who came with her mom from Ohio for me to see because I kept getting called up front to pay for new people coming in, asking questions about the party and having to deal with something that should have been handled either before our jump started or after it finished to ensure time with the party. The whole thing was just a terrible experience. Almost $600 later and we still did gifts at home and got to jump 15 minutes with my daughter. Also after all that she never got her birthday t-shirt and was charged for the extra pizza when it states you receive a free extra for every 5 guests. Also paid for 3 pitchers of drinks and only recieved 2 and called the day before to confirm so there would be enough. Please be advised save your money and time and...
Read moreEditing to address the reply below since I’m unable to add a reply. I attempted to have this conversation multiple times with associates on the phone prior to attending and writing a review and was completely disregarded and not at all told that parents would be notified and asked permission at the moment. The only feedback they were able to give was ‘this is our waiver and it can’t be modified and you must sign it to participate’. I also asked to speak to a supervisor and was directed to leave a voicemail (which has yet to be returned). My husband ultimately chose to attend the party with our child and stay to supervise to make sure no one took photos or videos of our children without notification. Multiple other parents expressed discomfort with the waiver as well and honestly it should just be revised. Again, I standby there is no reason to ask a parent to sign a full waiver and release to photograph/video record minor children. If someone would like to discuss this with me, my phone number was left in a voicemail for the supervisor on Sunday and hasn’t been returned.
Parents be warned that the waiver for participation also includes a full photo and video release and can’t not be skipped or declined. I don’t know why a business needs unrestricted access to take photos and videos of my MINOR child to be able to share at their will online, social media, etc. This is completely unnecessary as a part of the waiver. My child was invited to a birthday party and i now have to choose between signing something i don’t feel comfortable with or not allowing my child to have fun with friends. There is also no supervisor or manager available to...
