The resturant outside looks like a beautiful vintage southern style house. Upon entering I was seated as soon as I entered, was greeted by andrew, he gave me choices, to sit inside or out, I chose outside, very nice seating outside, I notice when entering, they where promoting live entertainment for the dinner this day. The table I was placed at is covered with a biege table cloth that is clean linen, wine glass, appeitizer plate, and untensils wrapped in a table napkins that's linen. Before my food had arrived, I asked to take a look around and love the seating arrangements. It has a fire place on the left upon entering, there is total of 4-6 areas of seating through out some of the rooms offer open or a private experience, they have 4 themed washrooms which has vintage paintings and current astetics, after doing my litte tour the manger (Lee) brought my food, and ask me if I needed anything else to let him know, secs after Andrew came and ask was everthing ok. I love the chairs they are made up of bamboo, very sturdy The outside flooring is (wood) colored green, the vibe feels vintage italian to me, its not but it gives me that with a touch of southeren .the lighting decore is very beautiful as well. The fixtures look like a latern type. I ordered the granola crusted bannana french bread toast, with brown sugar rum glazed with whipped cream, the presentation for it was very nice 3 slices of french toast bannana bread, whipped cream sits on the side of it with a tin cup filled with the rum glaze, its very soft and moist, the granola bits was better than I expected, I assume it would be crunchy but it was soft and blended so well with the french toast, I also order the veggie burger which is the chipotle black bean patty, fried green tomato, smoked tomato aioli, with house fries. The burger was well done, toasted bun, didnt even know it was a fried green tomoato once bitten, it was fried very crispy, and I don't even eat tomatoes like that, the fried tomato its a delight in the mouth, the aioli sauce was good dipped my house fries inside the sauce which was amazing, the fries was seasoned with just a right amount of sea salt, the sandwhich did come with condiments as well, lettuce, pickles, onions and ketchup, I love the fact it came on the side and not directly on the sandwhich. The only thing is my veggie burger was cold on the outside but hot on the inside, I dont know if it was because I sat outside to eat. After eating I ask for the tab and togo containers, my tab was brought on a fancy vintage tray with a linen napkin, along with my containers , a nice experience, I will return for a futur experience.

I lived in Atlanta many years ago and when the opportunity to go shopping with a friend presented itself I was thrilled. My friend made a reservation for dinner here, because I had fond memories of the Old Vinings Inn, and we wished to celebrate my birthday. We elected to sit upstairs in the bar to enjoy the live entertainment and were assured full service would be provided. The bar had a few patrons sitting at the bar and a few tables outside. The bartender/server took his time showing up and spent the majority of his time telling the story of his mother's life in Alaska and promoting her book (which he had in hand and offered for sale). We were able to get a glass of wine and order an appetizer, (and it was delicious), but unfortinately we were ignored our entire stay. I tracked down a server from downstairs who told me he couldn't help us. Our drinks were not replenished, nor were we given the opportunity to order an entree or dessert. Don't waste your time here, and if you must go, I'd avoid the bar. It was a huge disappointment.

We had a fantastic brunch today at Old Vinings Inn, celebrating an early Mother's and Father's Day. We were greeted at the door by owner Lee and were quickly seated on the patio. Our waitress, Stacy, did a great job walking us through the menu and making suggestions, as this was our first visit. We started with the homemade bread basket: chocolate candied bacon muffins, buttermilk biscuits, and a mini cinnamon bundt with delicious pineapple jam and whipped butter. We followed that with veggie omelettes and eggs benedict with fried green tomatoes for our entrées. All really great! Lee and Stacy stopped by several times to ensure we were pleased. For dessert, we ordered the double chocolate candied bacon brownie - absolutely to die for and melts in your mouth! Lee even gifted my mom a purse holder with an illustration of the Old Vinings Inn and comped our dessert at the end of the meal. A truly memorable experience with top notch service. We will definitely return to try dinner and live music. Thanks again!

My husband and I both agreed this was an exquisite dining experience! From beginning to end we were delighted. Tables were a safe distance apart and staff was properly masked. Our server, Russell, took excellent care of us. Russell was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely professional. He was attentive and with minimal interruptions, allowed us to enjoy couple time. We had the Dip Duo for starters. Best pimento I've tasted with a hint of spice. The herbed flatbread was so tasty, even on it's own. It paired well with the warm spinach artichoke sundried tomato dip as well. The roasted beets were amazing. The flavors: goat cheese, pistachio, and bursts of citrus throughout were delightful. Before Russell brought our dinner, he cleaned the table of crumbs. The main course was shrimp and grits for hubby, pecan crusted trout for me. So delicious! The best part for me was not only the savory flavor and presentation, but the food came to the table hot; meaning it was not sitting around getting cold while a server came to pick it up. That's impressive! It shows that coordination, timing and adequate staffing. Dessert was strawberry shortcake and double chocolate bacon brownie sundae. It was dreamy! And my request for no bacon was easily accommodated. We will definitely be back and tell our friends. This place is a "must go to" whether you live here or you're visiting. Fantastic job Old Vinings Inn! You've earned...

HAd a wonderful dinner tonight at vinings. Initially when we came in there was a party on the patio that was loud with an Elvis impersonator, but our waitress Melanie moved us to another section and our night went great afterward.

I’m gluten intolerant so she had some wonderful menu options just for me like the grilled calamari which was divine and light. We balanced out our starters with a beautiful Sauvignon Blanco from California that was not only fruit forward but delicious. Then I had the pork chops which wasn’t another gluten free option and I must admit while they were excellent, I was blown away by the Mac anc cheese and collared greens that were both great. Now I’ve had collared greens at 5 star restaurants that take like “ ass” but these were delicious with bacon bits, and the Ferrari Cabernet was a great pairing. It reminded me of Miomi but it wa different and elegant and they had a gluten free dessert that was fluffy and flavorful. If your looking for old world in a modern town like Atlanta this is the place and ask for Melanie she was the best. I give harsh reviews but she was a doll. Do yourself justice and...
