We were celebrating a friend birthday and had a group of twelve with us . Half’s way through dinner the powers went out , dark everywhere , in a few minutes it became hot and you could smell the food and grease from kitchen , the manager came and said the power was not gonna be stored anytime soon and suggested we should pack our food and leave . He was not at all apologetic and kept saying it wasn’t his fault . Our night was ruined , so we asked him to at list give a 20%discount since we didn’t fully finished our drinks and dinner , we didn’t have birthday cake and so forth. He didn’t try to make it any better by offering a drink another day , a discount on our unfinished drinks or even saying he was sorry for what happened . He kept saying it wasn’t his fault , yes it wasn’t his fault , but it was his responsibility to make our experience a little better . And he made absolutely no effort . He made 12 people sit in the heat , It took him an hour to figure out what our total was (since there was no power he had to do everything with hand ) and charged us fully for half dinner and drink . So I don’t know if everyone got treated that way or because we were twelve women we got this treatment . During hand calculation we offered to pay $750 in cash and have them to call us tomorrow and clear the total , we were exhausted , he said no we had to either leave our credit card with him or sit there until he was done . The whole total came up to $806 . So he wanted us to trust him by leaving our credit card with him but he couldn’t trust us for $56 dollars difference . We will never go back to this Resturant as long as this incompetent and unsympathetic manager is...

Update 03/2025: Visited SoHo again and still great food along with service! Just had dinner with my sister and aunt today 07/22/2024 6:22PM departure time.

The food was amazing along with service! I had the Thai lettuce chicken wrap, it was good just a little salty for my palate. The sea bass with purple rice, baby bok choy, lemon butter nage.

The sea bass was cooked perfectly, baby bok choy was good along with the purple rice. The lemon butter nage was a little salty for my palate. The side cream corn was amazing as well. Overall: 9/10

My aunt had the crab cakes and she stated everything was delicious! Overall: 8/10

My sister had the eggplant lasagna and I sampled some and it was very tasty! Overall: 10/10

Dessert: I sampled my sister’s key lime pie and it was good.

I sampled my aunt’s warm apple pie with ice cream it was okay.

Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with making selections and the manager (Rozie) came to our table and asked how was everything and my response was, “Best friend everything was amazing”. (I don’t know him in real life).

Summary: I recommend SOHO because of the amazing food and customer service provided by Rozie and our server!

FYI….They have a reward program, be sure to check the bottom of your receipt and sign up to earn...

Soho was always a favorite spot of ours in Vinings, for many years, went tonight and sad to say the atmosphere has changed so much and not in a good way! We all loved to go there because it was a friendly happy atmosphere where we knew the bartenders and staff and management and it was inviting and welcoming! The food was always good, tonight the service was ok, but the personality that made Soho “the place” to be was gone. The bartenders tho adequate were along with much of the staff having a great time with one other person at the end of the bar and seemed to be having more fun with each other than paying attention to the patrons. Having been in the restaurant business for many decades, this isn’t a great environment for the patron. It was Saturday night when usually it was filled with people and happiness, and excitement! Usually so crowded you would wait to be seated at any cost. Not so the last several times we have been there. Hoping this rating inspires the owner and staff to create an atmosphere of connection with your clientele as well as serving great food. We will try again, hoping this review can be used to improve and not criticize. It seems SoHo has lost its connection with the patrons who come to enjoy what we hoped it would offer...

🍸 Fantastic Cocktails & Delicious Halibut Special! 🐟

We had a great dining experience at Soho Restaurant in Atlanta. We started with a few appetizers: the calamari, tuna tartare, and Caesar salads. The calamari stood out — crispy, flavorful, and paired with a delicious Asian-style sauce. The salads and tartare were fresh and well-prepared. For the main course, our table tried a variety of dishes. The New York strip steak was a hit — cooked just right and full of flavor. The beef Bolognese was also an excellent choice, rich and hearty. One of the evening’s specials, the halibut, was perfectly cooked and came with creamy mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach, both of which complemented the fish well. The only misstep was the burgundy braised short rib, which came out overcooked. We brought it to the manager’s attention, and they kindly offered to replace it — a gesture we appreciated, even though we declined the offer. On top of the great food, the mixed drinks were excellent, and we appreciated the military discount. Parking was easy, which is always a plus in Atlanta. Overall, Soho was a fantastic choice for dinner — stylish, accommodating, and flavorful, with just one small hiccup in an otherwise enjoyable night.

Soho has been one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants for years. I love the weekly wine flights and food pairings when they have something that I actually eat. Their calamari appetizer is always delectable but they were over cooked during my most recent visit in fact a lot of the food was including the dessert. Also during my last visit, I ordered the lobster and shrimp rolls which was okay and the Scottish salmon cooked medium and it was perfect and very good. The garlic beurre Blanc was a tasty addition. The roasted potatoes that come with it were mostly burnt. For dessert, I tried the bread pudding. The server made it sound so delicious and stated it was the owner’s family recipe. As mentioned before, it was over cooked and it wasn’t nearly as good as described. I also recently tried the eggplant lasagna and it was sooo good! I will definitely try it again.
