Rafters — Restaurant in Georgia

We stopped in here twice on our vacation just for some cheap drinks and hangs and this place is perfect for that! It wasnt terribly crowded (granted we were there Sunday and Tuesday nights) and there were about 4 or 5 open pool tables to choose from. You can pick the music with the touch tunes juke box. The bartenders were friendly and make great drinks! 2 mixed drinks and 3 beers cost us about $30 (with tip!) Passing through when my truck broke down. Decided to stay on St Simons Island. So happy I did. Rafters was recommended a place to visit. I went two nights in a row. From the time I walked in the atmosphere was welcoming. Ashley, the bartender was very sweet. Even remembered my name the next day when we ran into one another Iguanas. Went with my wife after our anniversary dinner to play some pool and drink some drinks. There are ashtrays everywhere so I lit a cigar while we played pool. The bartender came over and said "you can't smoke like that." So I put the cigar in the ashtray while I took my shot assuming she meant no smoking at the table.
