At 8:52am this morning I went to the Starbucks drive-thru. The worker Ashley took my order. In the beginning, she was super cheerful. She asked, “What can I get for you?” I said, “I would like to have two large hot chocolates.” Before I could say anything else Ashley asked, “Is there anything else?” I proceeded with “I would like one with caramel and the other with peppermint.” Before I could say anything else once again, Ashley asked, “Is there anything else?” I said, “Can I have caramel drizzle on the caramel hot chocolate.” Ashley asked, “So you want caramel drizzle on both?” I said “No. Caramel drizzle only on the caramel hot chocolate. I want the peppermint just to be peppermint. Please.” Before I could say anything else, Ashley asked, “Is there anything else?” I said, “I would like them both with almond milk.” Yes you know what comes next, before I could say anything else Ashley asked, “Is there anything else?” Now I can hear is nothing but annoyance on her end of the microphone.
If Ashley would’ve just let me say all that I wanted to order, without the interruptions, I would not be taking time out of my life to sit down and type out this review. I could’ve have checked Ashley once I got to the window but I find this way more professional. This way: I am able to teach a lesson but also to show other customers there is a way you are supposed to be treated where you spend your money.

Follow up to Mgr's Rebuttal: I did not elaborate on my comment becasuse I was on the road and tight on time. I shall remedy that now. I told the Barista that my Americano is watered down. The Barista did not asked me if I wanted my drink remade. She simply said an extra shot would be an extra cost. I drink Starbucks' Americano almost every day (I travel a lot, mostly for business). So, I visit lot of SB. When the Espresso machine is calibrated correctly, and water temp is right, and a properly trained Barista make your Americano, the drink is sweet, bitter, and silky - simply delightful. I know when my drink is lacking proper number of shots, or when an Espresso machine is not calibrated correctly - just bitter. I spent $100 last month at SB, mostly on Americano. I became a Gold Card member because of their coffee. Sadly, SB is not what it used to be. I used to order regular coffee. Hard to find fresh coffee at any SB. Don't have time for a Barista to make a fresh pot or a pour-over; hence, I started ordering Americano. When my Americano is made right, I tip. This is the only way that I can express quality control. If SB cares about quality control, their App would provide a quick push button option to indicate whether a drink was made properly or not, along with the tip option. If I had other National chain option, I would have turned in my Gold Card. For those thinking Dunkin', that's not an option. I had excellent Americano at Biggby, but there are few stores. I challenge SB to step up and be better or go back to reason I became a Gold...

While waiting in line there was a truck in front of us that they were feeding cool whip to in a little cup, she finally passed it off to the owner in the truck. 🚩We get to the window and they have the wrong size, they remake the 2 venti strawberry frappe, was watery, with a hint of strawberry when we asked for extra strawberries and for it to be made with heavy cream. 🚩While waiting for them to remake our drinks the window clerk was boasting about how the Black Friday shoppers were gonna be mad be cause they would be waiting a while coming there to get their Starbucks especially not getting what they wanted at the stores..believe you me they do not get in a hurry here.They ask us to park and they would remake it and we did. 🚩I went inside and watched them remake it. They were chunking sugar, not simple syrup, and yes Ik that simple syrup is a water and sugar mixture. So the manager is bringing it out to us and I ask her are those for me and she said yes. So she proceeds to ask me did I throw the other two in the trash and I told her know and she said that she would need those back before she could give those two us.🚩 I tried to give them back at the window and she said just keep them, but she proceeds to tell me since the Covid cases are down in the area, they are allowed to take them back!! LIES, LIES, LIES! Ik the Dhec regulations and those are not adding up!! NEVER AGAIN!! JUST THROW THE WHOLE...
