If you're local, you know the reputation this Taco Bell has managed to develop over the years it has been there... and it's not a good one. I'm thrilled to be able to write them a great review now, because it's clear changes have been made and work has been done to correct lasting concerns since they closed, dropped KFC, remodeled and reopened.
This previously was the TBell we would avoid at all costs - would drive to the location on Powder Springs St in Marietta even though it is further, just because the service and order accuracy were sooo much better. Since reopening, we've given it a try a few different times and felt much better about the quality of the service and the food.
Today, I placed an online order and we went through the drive-thru to pick up. We got our food, the young man at the window was very friendly and pleasant. He even asked if we needed additional sauces, more than just the quantity I added to the order in the app. We get our food, drive around to head home and realize we are missing an item. As we pull back through and let them know we didn't receive it, get back in line, we realize the entire order essentially was wrong.. they had given us someone else's order. We let them know at the window, they were sincerely apologetic and worked to get us the correct order quickly. They ensured we had everything we had ordered and needed, and gave us a few coupons for a free taco for the inconvenience.
Yes, the order we initially received was incorrect. Is there maybe still some work to be done on ensuring order accuracy? Yeah, probably. But the service has improved tremendously, which is a very important factor for me in deciding to continue going to this location. Every employee we interacted with was kind, friendly, and genuinely seemed concerned about making the issue right.
All of that to say, if you're considering giving this location another try, absolutely do. And if you haven't tried this location - please let this be a recommendation to do so.
Once we received our correct order, the food quality was great, btw. TBell corporate if you're reading this - please keep the meximelt as a permanent part of the menu, I...
Read morei don’t know if taco bell corporate reads these reviews, but they should really close this location, or just re-staff from top to bottom. i work next door, and it’s been common knowledge around this area that this is a historically bad taco bell, unparalleled in its chaos. and it’s been this way for years, but every few months i throw them a bone and decide to give em a try. “perhaps they’ve gotten new management,” i think to myself. each time, i am made the fool. after waiting in line behind one car for a solid 15-20 min, i arrive at the coveted menu board (few get this far). today i ordered a dollar beefy frito burrito and a cup of water — let’s make this easy for them — and i pulled up. in due time (surprisingly, only a five minute wait), im at the window. the man at the window asked what i had. i confirm my order to him, already certain this was a grave mistake. i pay, and then play the waiting game once more. i understand one has to wait for food to be prepared, but the wait times at this taco bell have made men go gray. i assume perhaps i’ll get my water as a consolation prize for my wait, but still, i sit. he reaches towards the drink machine — “could it be?? my water??” i imagine. he fills it with water and hands it to a co-worker. ah, of course. several minutes go by and then they inform me (drumroll please)... they’re out of beef. what?? why...didn’t they tell me that when i so foolishly chose the BEEFy frito burrito several years ago when i was at the menu? eventually, i got my burrito, and my water after asking. i’ll spare any readers of this the details of how it tasted, but you get the gist by now. taco bell, please do something about this store. i’ve never tried the the KFC, because i might get dysentery or something. but...
Read moreSo I drove all the way from Chicago to Atlanta and make my last stop for the night at this location. I pull up to drive thru order window about 9pm. No one says anything after honking and waiting at least 5min. There are no other cars on sight (inside or outside) except the car before me. I pull around thinking maybe the speaker isn’t working. Now, here I am waiting another 10 min or more for this one car to get their order. Finally, I get to move up to window. The Employee/Manager then quotes my price is $4.01, now realizing a customer is behind me. I said sorry Sir I didn’t get a response from the speaker so I just pulled up to the window. The “Manager” then says, Ma’m You’re gonna have to go pull around and get back in line. He then says no Ma’M I can’t do that you have to drive back around. I said Sir I’ve waited now 15 minutes, can you please use another register to take my order (there are no Customers inside, also I saw at least 3 employees inside) He then says, no Ma’m I’m not going to take your order, closes his window, then comes back to me with a number to call on a piece of paper. He then says, here Ma’M call Customer Relations for your “complaints” and your “opinions”. He then hollers to the car behind me and asked that Customer to come around and come inside to pick up his order. So Basically, I was REFUSED Service. Very Rude & UnProfessional. These three Employees that they are very lazy and obviously have not received proper Customer Service Training. I will also be sending an email regarding this particular “supposed” Manager, and asked that he’s either Fired or Demoted. He’s definitely not Management material. This was the absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had in my 50...
