Pleasant ambiance. Definitely a sports Saturday. Steady crowd. Lots of different sports on the televisions. I was thoroughly impressed with the fact that the gentleman at the hostess stand was willing to accommodate whatever we wanted to watch on the televisions. That was very very kind. We were seated immediately upon walking in. The food ordered was the homemade mac and cheese salmon and rice I substituted the brussel sprouts for macaroni and cheese. My only complaint with the meal is it definitely needed more flavor. I could tell they do not really season their food so it made it a bit bland and required more seasoning. Other than that the presentation was great and it was a decent taste. Unfortunately I did not think to snap a photo. The other entree was an impossible burger, which you are able to substitute any burger on their menu for, and get the impossible. It was flavorful and tasty you do have to add seasoning to it as well, we had the sweet potato fries with it and they were yummy. Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating extremely sweet she checked on us regularly. Lemonade with peach flavoring was the drink and another general alcohol beverage that I cannot particularly recall at the moment however there were no complaints in that retrospect. Nachos and guac for the appetizer which is very very good they're guacamole is flavorful and homemade and fresh! You can also get queso and salsa on the side with your nachos. All in all our bill was around $53 which is very doable for an afternoon late lunch. Just remember you may have to tuck a few seasonings in your pocketbook to add a bit of flavor to your meals. This is not my first visit I would definitely return.

I recently visited this restaurant location and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The only thing good I can say is RAVEN, YOU ARE THE BEST, but the lack of basic hygiene standards was unacceptable. I was shocked to find that the restrooms did not have any soap available for patrons to wash their hands with. This egregious oversight is completely inexcusable in any establishment, let alone a restaurant that is supposed to be serving food to paying customers. It is well known that proper hand hygiene is essential in preventing the spread of germs and bacteria, especially in a public setting where so many people are coming and going. I am appalled that the management of this restaurant would be so careless when it comes to the health and safety of their customers. It is clear that they have no regard for basic sanitation practices and are more concerned with cutting costs than ensuring the well-being of those who visit their establishment. I would strongly advise anyone considering eating at this restaurant to think twice before doing so. Their lack of attention to even the most basic hygiene standards is a severe cause for concern and a risk to customer health. Save your money and go somewhere that takes cleanliness seriously. Even after bring this to the manager's attention and waiting 20+ minutes, nothing was done, but on the way out, I do see that Kristen, the manager on duty, was more concerned with a smoke break and taking a call than taking care of the basic needs of the customers

Upon walking in the door, I picked up on a stale odor. The host was not professional at all and he sat me at a dirty table. It took awhile for a server to come to the table and I noticed the servers staring at me and my date like they did not want to serve us or something...it made me pretty uncomfortable. I got that vibe that the servers were saying some ugly things at the soda fountain about us. The collective attitude here was just terrible. After experiencing all this, the manager came and apologized about the dirty table. This really disappoints me because Taco Mac is a place that I have always considered hip and this sort of shattered my illusion. I had beef street tacos. They were bad. The labor shortage and the pandemic might be a factor here and I get the impression that the team here is feeling under appreciated and over worked. I think it is a good sign that there is a serious need for labor reform in our country. I want good service and that is only possible when people can be happy when they work. People shouldn't have to break their health and neglect their own lives to come up. Get well soon Taco Mac!

I wish I could give zero stars. I had the worst service of all my time going to Taco Mac tonight (10+ years), we love the Canton one but we were in the area and stopped here…. BIG MISTAKE. Myself and 3 others went to the Cumberland location tonight. First we arrive and ask to sit on the porch we’re there were tables still not cleaned off with them saying they weren’t sure they could seat us out there or didn’t know who our server would be. We brought our dogs as well so we needed to sit outside. We arrived at 7pm to a 1/4-1/2 full restaurant inside, no one outside except about 2 dirty tables from prior customers. After waiting for 15 minutes to just see our server, we ordered a large queso with extra tortillas and 4 beers. The beer took about 10-15 minutes to show up. Our waitress asked if we had gotten our queso dip, obviously not on our table. She left to go get it and came back 10 minutes later and said “they said they brought it out let me go see where it is at” 10 minutes later our reheated brownish colored queso comes. Then we order our food. Between the 4 people we ordered 26 wings. 16 the same flavor. And one with a side of sweet potato fries. After 30 minutes the waitress comes back to empty beer glasses and empty water glasses. We order 4 more beers. We got 2 correct beer orders 10-15 minutes later and wait another 5-10 minutes for the correct beers to return. At this point we have been in the restaurant for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes NOT EVEN WITH FOOD. When our 26 wings finally arrive, two of the three orders were cold. Not freshly cooked warmish wings, COLD. We immediately notified the waitress and she apologized and retuned to the kitchen. 15 minutes later the “manager” Ivan? Ivana? Comes to the table and advised us that our wings were being re cooked and would be out shortly, not even apologizing about the service. The one order that was prepared and warm was finished and I asked the manager to just place them in To-go boxes, because last thing we wanted was to stay there any longer. While another person of the party tried explaining what had happened during our service to the manager (which she never even asked us or cared to) walked away in the middle of her talking with an attitude and not even an apology for our 2 hr wait for our meal. No other manager was on site to talk to and our waitress couldn’t give us any other name above her, not sure why?? After another 15-20 minute wait the waitress and “manager” came back out with our food and our what she advised was “comped” checks. This included two different checks that were 100% incorrect for both parties. What should have been at least an even check on both sides, one check was nearly $65 for and $30 for the other. The “manager” applied a “good customer credit” to both checks at that time. After reviewing the check the waitress was called back out and notified and advised of the mistake and our reheated queso was asked to be completely taken off. When she returned, the checks were reviewed again and no compensation was given for our $45 dollar meal and the queso was still applied to the other parties meal and a “good customer discount” applied to there’s but not to ours, some how it magically was removed from our checks. Deciding to just pay and leave and not fight again and bills were paid while also advising the waitress that she did a fine job and we did not believe her service was bad however her managers attitude and customer service was incredibly dissatisfying. Once at home with our food that we had to place for To-go after a 2 hour wait, lone and behold our sweet potato fries that we were still charged for were not in the order at all. This again was by far my worst experience at any taco Mac location in all my time being a...

If you value your time and money DO NOT COME HERE!! I would give -100 stars if I could. This has to be the worst dining experience I have ever had in my life. I have never complained about service or food at any restaurant I’ve been to, as I was a server for 7 years and I understand things happen from time to time that are out of the restaurant staffs control. The service was absolutely terrible. Two members of our party had to ask for a water and a coke 5 different times until finally we requested another server. After that, the manager (Jennifer) who was one of the rudest humans I have ever met came over and was immediately annoyed that we wanted to speak with her. She made it clear that it would be difficult to change servers at this point so we agreed to continue with the same server and we voiced our concerns with her. Although she did help our server get our drinks out, she sarcastically asked if she could take an empty cup from our table.. Drinks took forever each time, it took probably 35 minutes before our food order was ever taken and afterwards we still had long wait times on all of our drinks. So long that the bartender brought out about half of them to us throughout the night. Once we got our food around 8pm (we sat down at 6:20pm), we had no silverware so we asked our server for some. The manager then brought a handful of plastic silverware and asked “how many” and then tossed the whole pile onto the table. Everyone’s food was Luke warm at best. One member of our party received the wrong wing order and the server took it back, and 5 minutes later brought out a plate of wings that were ICE COLD. Truly ice cold, as if they were literally coming out of the refrigerator. At this point we had to speak to the manager again, and when we got her attention she rolled her eyes and met us up front to speak to her to let her know that this was not acceptable at all. The manager (Jennifer) then offered to comped our bill for us, which we didn’t even care about at this point-we just wanted to leave. Then the server proceeds to walk by our table and literally throw our card and the check onto the table without a word and kept walking.. not a single person apologized for how awful the service and everything was throughout this entire debacle. After we left the table, two of our friends stayed to finish their food and heard our server complaining to the table beside ours that we complained the entire evening (which we did, rightfully so) and that she had to come out of her pocket to pay for our food, which hopefully is not the case. Between the service, the food, and the management everything was a complete nightmare and we wasted our entire evening here to be treated like garbage and to be served garbage. Save your time and money and go literally anywhere else in atlanta.. to whoever our server was and Jennifer the manager, I hope you see these reviews and I highly suggest you find another industry to work in. Preferably one where you do not have to interact with other people. DO...

Saturday, July 8, 2023-Time between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Not so great - Cumberland Mall Location – Our customer experience started well. Our family/party of seven was seated and serviced quickly. Our server was welcoming with a warm and pleasant personality. The experience went downhill from there as we waited for our food. During our 45-minute wait, I observed a table of five, a table of twelve and another table of five, receive their food ahead of us with the help of whom I am assuming was the manager. (I later was told her name was Jen.) After some time, Jen, the manager brought our food to the table. My grandson (whose birthday we were celebrating), asked for more honey mustard. The manager’s demeanor and tone instantly changed as she responded in a loud choppy tone, “You have some on your plate.” She then addressed us as the adults by saying, “I will have to charge you.” (Note: the charge for extra sauce is not on the menu. It should be synonymous with asking for ketchup). My expectation as a customer was that this manager: 1) Greet us with a smile while apologizing for our long wait, 2) thank us for our patience, and 3) respond kindly to a child. Her response should have been pleasant and accommodating. As a result of our long wait, our food was lukewarm. When our server brought our check there was a charge of sixty-nine cents for each small dipping size container of sauce (4) to be exact. The "cost" was not the issue. The fact that the request resulted in a cost was the issue. We discussed the attitude of the manager and the extra charge with our server. Our server attempted to remove the cost but shared with us that she received pushback from the manager. Taco Mac, you are an established business. A request for extra dipping sauce should not put a strain on your inventory.

Your manager, Jen’s customer service skills were lacking on so many levels. A manager is a “Leader.” I observed no leadership skills as far as modeling how to provide a good customer experience. Our server, on the other hand, strived to do so. This manager needs training on your brand expectations of customer service and “how” to provide a positive customer experience. Her demeanor overall was unwelcoming and her tone when speaking to us as customers was choppy and rude. We will NOT be...
