Please do NOT trust the reviews on Groupon nor any other platform that would rate this business well. After correctly and successfully scheduling my appointment online via their website AND receiving MULTIPLE email confirmations and text reminders, I was left standing outside their unexpectedly closed business location and what turned out to become an unprofessionally last-minute cancelled appt by them!
I arrived at 5:18pm for my 5:30pm scheduled appointment at the 1800 Water Place location. The windows blinds were down and shut, lights off, and door locked. There is a small sign stating, "Please do not pull on door, only ring doorbell once." I did as instructed, no answer. After waiting a few minutes I called their main number, a male voice answered, I told him my name and that I was here for my 5:30pm appt only for him to HANG UP on me! I rang the doorbell only one more time, waited a few more minutes, no response. Then, coincidentally enough, one of Lotus Institute's students arrived and immediately, she too, was confused that the location was closed!! She shared that she had arrived to pick up something for her own graduation from the Institute. She managed to call someone, a Junior Instructor, who shared that they were on their way. When the junior instructor arrived on sight, she too, was just as confused as the previous student. They were both informed to arrive today, but it seemed they were also discovering that they were misled, too. This junior instructor was able to text the owner (I believe), his name was Ceven, about me waiting for my appt. (I can only assume the person was Ceven Loochi after doing some research from other reviews). She relayed to me that supposedly Ceven sent an email out to clients stating their business would be closed for the next two weeks due to graduation!! (Mind you, I booked this appointment just 3 days ago). It's safe to assume here, that I received no such email. I actually asked both students to look at my own email chains (as I was pulling them up) just so that they, too, can witness that NO SUCH EMAIL was ever sent out. Not in my Spam folder either. Both students seemed embarrassed, too--even the junior instructor apologized. At this point, because Ceven was obviously texting this junior instructor in real-time right before me eyes, I called the main line again. He answered. I informed him about being here for my appt. He stated that I should've received a cancelation notice via email. I informed him I didn't (the last thing I received was a text reminder two days ago for my appt). I even told him that these two students can confirm that I didnt receive an email and he just verbally shrugged it off. He just responded, "you can reach out to Groupon to get a refund." THAT'S IT. No apology, no attempt to compensate the inconvenience, nothing.
The students informed me that this business was in the process of relocating to a new spot soon. Regardless, that is not a viable reason nor excuse for poor communication and poor customer service!

When I finally got through, the man who answered insisted I schedule online. I explained multiple times that the website kept redirecting me somewhere else, but instead of listening, he just kept saying I was wrong. After arguing with me, he finally said he’d let IT know and call me back—he never did.
I eventually managed to schedule an appointment myself for Saturday. When I arrived, the same man told me they couldn’t take me because I had purchased a Groupon and those are only valid with students. He never mentioned this on the phone, even though I specifically told him I had a Groupon when asked about scheduling. He then rescheduled me for the following Thursday at 7:45 PM.
I showed up 15 minutes early, rang the doorbell several times every 5 minutes, and waited outside for almost 30 minutes. The place looked closed. Lights were on inside, but nobody ever came to the door. I called repeatedly during that time—again, voicemail was full, no one answered.
To make matters worse, peeking inside the spa, the place looked trashy and unorganized, with random stuff scattered on the floor. It did not feel like a professional business at all.

The utter lack of professionalism was astounding. I called the listed phone number twice—first speaking to a man (possibly the owner) who told me “they were probably busy with another client and he would let them know”, and then calling the second time at 11:20 for an update, but just leaving a voicemail due to that call being unanswered. I rang the Ring doorbell twice, assuming it was broken, all while fending off a yellow jacket and swatting mosquitoes biting me relentlessly due to the location being in a heavily wooded area. It wasn’t until I was already driving home—after a 45-minute trip for this fiasco—that someone named Michelle texted me, claiming she was “on the phone trying to find someone to cover my appointment because the assigned student had to leave”. Are you kidding me? Their website boasts appointment times every 5 minutes when scheduling, yet they couldn’t find one other student to step in? Why was I left standing outside like an unwelcome intruder? No one bothered to communicate or let me in. This level of disorganization and disregard for customers’ time is unacceptable.
