Wow I’ve never been more disappointed in my life! I came here on Mother’s Day so I understand it’s busy but what has happened is unacceptable. We got here at 7 & we were 15 minutes late for our reservation because of the rain. They then put us on a wait which I understood because we were very late for our reservation time. We waited for 20 minutes & then we were sat. Another 10 minutes go by before anyone greets us. We order some apps & some drinks. We wait 40 minutes to get drinks. My boyfriend & I got espresso martini’s which claim on the menu to have ‘fresh brewed espresso’. Well they came with just vodka & kahlua. We sent them back & asked for espresso to be added & they came back 10 minutes later fixed which I appreciated. Then it took another 20 minutes to get 1 of our 2 apps (we’re an hour in now). We reminded the server of our second app & she said it would be just a minute. 30 more minutes go by before we remind the waitress again (this was the only time she stopped by the table since the first app arrived) & she ran into the kitchen & brought us one out immediately. We got the calamari & it was cold & rubbery like a literal tire. So the next time she came we just said we wanted it taken off the bill because it was inedible. Another 30 minutes go by before my boyfriend & I get our food. We both got steaks & we both ordered medium & got medium rare (pictured below). At this point we were over the whole thing & didn’t even touch the food. & then waited another 10 mins which by the way his mother & grandmother still hadn’t gotten their food either. Then we flagged down the waitress & told her to just not bring out the other entrees & we wanted to just pay for our drinks & the one app & leave. That took another 20 minutes. Oh also they close at 9 so the second it turned 9 they turned the lights up even though we didn’t even have our food yet 😂😂😂😂 truly & remarkable terrible experience.

We met with a dear friend we haven’t seen in 27 years. We had heard such good reviews about Bonefish Grill that we drove 55 miles from Athens to meet her. The atmosphere was fine. Unfortunately, the choices on the menu were limited. The portions of fish and or steak/shrimp are very small. My friend ordered sea bass, which upon arriving at the table almost caused me to laugh. But, I didn’t because it was $35. The rice and asparagus were underwhelming. The asparagus was overcooked and dry. White rice? What more can I say? Now, to my husband’s meal. He had Mahi Mahi with shrimp and dry broccoli, yet again overcooked. It took a while to get some extra bread, but it finally came after about 15 minutes. My husband doesn’t like to complain, but when we got home he expressed dissatisfaction with quality of food and certainly the portions for the cost. My meal was the redeeming meal because the salmon was good, not excellent. However, the new Kung Pao brussel sprouts were tasty, but an acquired taste as they were a bit overcooked and are a premium side.(5$) The reason I’m giving Bonefish a 3 instead of a 2 is because the Key Lime Cake slice was very large, (10$) and we all had a couple of bites and it made us a little more full. Our wait staff was adequate. She wasn’t too talkative, but not overly enthusiastic about our experience. We will probably not return to Bonefish Grill.

This was my second time visiting Bonefish Grill. I didn’t want to leave a review after my first visit because I had only tried an appetizer, which wasn’t the best (even the server admitted it could be hit or miss). The cocktails that night, however, were excellent—crafted with care and full of flavor—so I decided to come back and try a full meal. On my return visit, I ordered the lobster corn chowder bisque and a Caesar salad, but unfortunately, neither was to my liking. The flavors lacked depth, and overall, the dishes just didn’t stand out. The restaurant definitely has potential, but they need to reevaluate their food options and quality. Even the cocktails—my original reason for coming back—were disappointing this time. On Mondays they offer $5 cocktail specials, but unlike my first visit when they were extravagant and flavorful, this round tasted watered down and rushed. It felt more like quantity over quality. That said, there are positives: the decor is stylish and well-done, the staff look sharp and professional, and everyone is friendly and polite. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for a light lunch or just want to enjoy the atmosphere, but not somewhere I’d recommend if you’re truly hungry and want a great meal.

My friends and I visited at the Atlanta location. We had a reservation, which was timely accommodated, however, I witnessed what I assume is a manager chastising her employee(s) about being late to work and discussing issues with shift coverages. It was both unprofessional and uncomfortable, as there were other customers waiting to be seated as well.

Our server initially started out great, she came to our table, took our orders for drinks and apps and both of those came out timely. We put in our main entrée orders and this is where things started to turn. The food took a good 40 minutes after drinks and apps were in. There was no check in by management or our server and as we looked around, several other tables were also waiting. It appears the kitchen was backed up, and the restaurant was shortstaffed for a busy Saturday evening.

My biggest issue is how our server closed out our tab. She provided our tickets asked for our cards, used her machine to swipe, and then pushed the card reader in our face with the tip screen up, saying here tap one of these. Totally unprofessional! There is an etiquette to tipping and I’ve never experienced that. My friend was away at the restroom, so I used her card to pay her ticket. The server swiped her card, returned it and proceeded to walk off. I asked her for a hardcopy receipt which she said she would return. When she brought the receipt back, my friend also returned and asked about a tip and the waitress stated “oh, I already applied 20%. I hope that’s OK!?“ My friend was visibly annoyed but decided not to question it. We were running late for an event. I believe at no point should a restaurant tolerate a server, selecting their own tip on a customers tab without their consent or knowledge. I hope this is addressed with all of your restaurant servers as I believe, judging by how easily this was done, this may be a common practice amongst the servers.

Overall, I enjoyed the restaurant. The food is generally consistent, and the drinks are probably the favorite part of the evening. I think the restaurant could tighten up on service and timeliness of food and I believe there is always room to improve. I will likely return to the restaurant, however I will be cognizant of the things I’ve noted above And will speak up in the moment to address...

We had reservations and still had to wait about 15min in line to get a seat on Valentine’s Day. The young man who served us bread knew nothing about the kind of bread it was. He said, “it’s just regular bread”. Our waitress had a TERRIBLE ATTITUDE and acted like she had a chip on her shoulder the entire night. She was about 50yo or so but was not friendly and would not give any recommendations on favorite sides or appetizers. “It depends on what you like”. Yes, but we’d never been there before and were trying to choose between a couple dishes that she refused to help us decide about. Also, she NEVER came back to check on us. We had to flag her down a few times. Never apologized for the long wait on our food or let us know any updates. Didn’t offer refills of anything. Our bill was a total of $92.75. We had $100 in gift cards that she rung up and said that they’ve been cleared and there was a penny charge to use? She had also thrown away the cards! We had to ask for them back and called the card company to get the balance and there was still $7.25 left on the card. I’m not sure why she said there was no balance left on the card and why she said the cards were cleared out??? She had argued with us that we needed to call the card company to verify balance (even though this was her mistake and not a card issue). The food was AMAZING. We had the tomato butter grouper and seasonal filet mignon topped with seafood and cream sauce. Kung pao Brussels were delish! We enjoyed and killed the crab topped fries with bang bang sauce. Key lime cake was sooo yummy but too cold to enjoy there. Had to wait a couple hours for it to soften as it must’ve come directly out of the fridge. We told the waitress we would be eating some cake at the restaurant but maybe they don’t thaw cake ahead of time? She did not communicate any information about this at all. She was NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL. She rolled her eyes and had a smirk on her face most of the night. This is a major turn off for a fancy restaurant on Valentine’s Day. Please educate your wait staff on their customer service skills or we will just plan to spend our money...

My family and I had the worse experience at this restaurant this pass Thursday 7/18. we came in as a party of 16 to celebrate my mother's birthday . The hostess and 1 manager King were the only good things about this experience . We had two servers and one in particular was the worse I have had by far . Jillian had an attitude from the beginning of our service . The kitchen sent out cold food to over 10 people and under cooked pork chops not one but twice once we asked to kindly speak with management Jillain proceeded to ask why with an attitude which turned the night even more sour than it began with her constant attitude . As a party of 16 we constantly has to ask for drink refills we did not get asked or followed up with the meals that were not cold nor did they bring and condiments or drinks as we requested . the additional server disappeared all together. we waited over 3 hours for most of my party to not eat or had to take their food home due to the time . King the manager came over and accommodated us tremendously even when that's not what we were looking for we wanted the dining experience . as we proceeded to pack up and leave Jillain states figures to one of the bills that were left that was actually compd by the manager where a cash tip was left not on paper to say she wasted her time in all reality the service quality was awful she then Began a shouting match with one of the party goers stating it was our fault for not accepting bad service or food that was undercooked and cold . It was the absolute worse experience I've had in some time and felt completely embarrassed we choose to dine here for a birthday celebration . not only did the managers recognize that the servers were not prepared they were trying to rectify the situation unlike the young lady who ruined my mother's birthday evening by causing a commotion over her lack of tip which was there but she didn't realize it until it was to late. again the manager was amazing he did everything right that server...
