Sales People (Cindy) Lie!!!! Vanquish is a waste of $7000!!!
About a year ago I was struggling with my weight. My stomach and bra roll were my problem areas. I scheduled a consultation with Cindy to discuss whether or not Sculpture was something that I was a good candidate for and if not, I was going to look into smart lipo elsewhere. Cindy assured me that I was a good candidate and that pain shouldnāt be an issue so I signed up for sculpture and a unit of lip filler costing me about $7000.
Come the day of the appointment the nurse went over some prep instructions with me since Cindy never gave me any of that. We started my sculpture treatment and at first I was very uncomfortable. The nurse said I could use the laughing gas if it hurt. I let her know that I drove myself and would that be a problem b/c I did not know anything about this! She said I should be fine 30 min after using it so I decided to try it to see if it made the procedure any more comfortable. For me, it did not. The heat from the machine was actually causing me severe pains in my stomach b/c it was irritating the nerves where it was placed. The nurse adjusted it but the pain continued. I finished up the treatment and felt terrible. I had an excruciating migraine that started on my way home from the laughing gas.
I called Cindy to tell her that I could not complete the treatments and that I would like a refund for the remainder of the treatments. She said she could not do that but I should switch my package to Vanquish. She said itās the same thing, it just hurts less. Since this was my only option and I trusted her I went in and tried Vanquish. Once again at my appointment I learned some things about Vanquish. They wanted you to come in 1x per week which if Cindy had told me this I would have let her know that it would not work w/ my schedule but once again she left out information to make a sale.
After getting through all of my treatments I have seen zero results! Probably b/c I was not a good candidate for this procedure and she should have just refunded me when I asked her to. I am so very disappointed in Atlanta Face and Body. I heard about them all over the radio station and assumed that they were a reputable company but I found out the hard way that they are not, and now I am out $7000 for absolutely nothing! I donāt have that kind of money to be thrown away. PLEASE FOR YOUR SAKE, DO NOT USE ATLANTA FACE & BODY. They only want your money and donāt care about you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff of Atlanta Face & Body is extremely kind and even Dr. Whitaker herself is very nice. The atmosphere is very pleasant upon entering with coffee and water offered at the door by the front desk. I was More than satisfied on my initial impression and loved how easy it was to get in to see the doctor. My partner and I each had filler and Botox by Dr. Whitaker and left happy. We were told to take it easy, apply the cold pack, and care instructions that we followed. Weāve had other fillers and Botox before so this was not anything new until we visited this specific doctor. I noticed About three days later a small (trough) in my cheek area and my partners Botox did not take effect like it usually does. We were told it could take longer and had a series of follow up appts to look at the trough and even adding more filler to try to offset what was seeing. My partners problem with the Botox was fixed but not without saying from the doctor āthis timeā I wonāt charge you. Hereās the problem I have with that if we spend over $2500.00 within a week the last thing I want is the Botox not to work and then imply it would cost us more but she was going to make an exception. (The result should be what was paid for) in conclusion my partners Botox finally took effect and is now ok. Now, back to the (trough) she rolled a Q-tip over the area on two follow ups but after explaining and taking pictures and even the doctor stating she could see the trough her proposal was ( buy another syringe) and she could store the remaining for next time. Wait! Reviewers understand I didnt want more filler I rather just wanted the trough that was noticeably seen fixed, it showed in the photos, the doctor seen it, What am I missing? My face wasnāt un-even before and didnāt have this trough. I felt the doctor was just trying to get me to spend more unnecessary money rather then fix the (trough) and I leave happy and satisfied with the results. I informed the front desk we would not be back, not because we didnāt receive good customer service but because we felt taken advantage of and quality of work did not seem superb as indicated per the website. I was told by the front desk they were going to speak to the doctor but have not received...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an unfortunate experience at this medical office that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had made an appointment for my mother, clearly stating that I would be accompanying her as a translator. However, shortly after, I received a call informing me that my card would be charged the next day, even before our visit took place. I couldn't understand why they would be so concerned about payment before providing any service, and it reflected poorly on their office.
To add to the confusion, I received multiple voicemails from them, unsure if I was only accompanying my mother or if I also required a consultation for myself. I want to emphasize that at no point did I mention or express interest in any procedure for myself. These repeated messages quickly became annoying. A week before the scheduled appointments, I noticed that they had already charged my card for two consultations, without even confirming with me. It seemed they were desperate for the $200 payment that day.
Feeling frustrated, I called the office to inform them that my mother had already had a successful consultation with another surgeon, making their appointment unnecessary. I requested the cancellation and refund of the $200 charge. The representative assured me that Sky would call me back. Already tired of the back-and-forth, I made it clear that a call was not necessary and asked them to simply send me an email confirming the refund. Despite this, Sky called again, attempting to convince me to keep the appointment for a second opinion and highlighting Dr. Whitaker's credentials. The persistent sales pitch before I even stepped foot in their office did not sit well with me.
Overall, I do not have a positive impression of this place. It felt like they were more interested in quick financial gains rather than providing quality care. Dr. Whitaker and her staff were far from the caliber of the doctor we ultimately chose. I would advise others to approach this medical office with caution, as their cheap tactics and lack of communication left me with a sense of unease and...
