-5 star! This is the WORST customer service experience I have ever experienced based on my recollection. This morning, my family and I decided to have breakfast at Crackle Barrel. On arrival, the wait list was long and the children were starving. We drove across the street to Wendy's and ordered two sandwiches and room temperature bottled water to hold the kids over. My kids have been battling the back to school cold and are normally reactive to fridge cold water. I pull up to the window and was handed a COLD bottle water. I kindly asked CHARLOTTE who I later found out was THE MANAGER, to please give us room temperature water as my children will not be able to drink this cold one and they need fluid with their meal. She said there is no room temperature water at the back. I said okay, just take it off our order then. She hesitated and rudely slammed the window, turned and spoke to an elderly lady who hurriedly went to the back. I assumed this was to bring us the water. She opened the window again and handed us the sandwiches and asked for payment. I gave her my card. Few minutes later, she then handed me AGAIN, a cold water bottle. Confused, I said I can't take this. It is cold. She told me it isn't cold, it is room temperature that it was just brought from the back fridge. Trying to curtail my frustration, I told her to please take it off our order as we wouldn't be able to drink it. She told me SHE HAS ALREADY TAKEN THE PAYMENT AND CANNOT REFUND ME! It became apparent she was out to be plain nasty! I told her, but I told you THREE TIMES! We cannot drink cold water. She told me it isn't cold that it is room temperature. Feeling highly insulted already, I packed the car and went inside. SHE PROCEEDED TO ADD THAT SHE SAW MY NAME ON MY CARD AND WE ARE FROM THE SAME COUNTRY. I asked for the manager, I was told she, Charlotte was the managerđ±! Oh the disappointment. I asked that I be refunded for the water as this was a matter of principle. I asked her if her treatment of me had to do with the fact that she believes "we are from the same country" which we aren't by the way AND not that it should be relevant! She said she wasn't racist. I told her she was highly prejudiced. The kind elderly lady, quietly apologized to me and said it was her fault (I disagree). She said she put the room temperature water in the back fridge this morning at 7am! 5 HOURS AGO! And that I have every right to be upset as the water given to me isn't room temperature and the customer is always right. This elderly lady showed leadership! Though I had lost my cool by now, I was so saddened by the way this manager operates this Wendy's. I told Charlotte she is the reason why this location has a 3 star rating. My card was returned to me with a refund slip. I took it and as I was walking away, she told me condescendingly "goodluck with your life." I got home, looked at the refund slip for a number to call and make a complaint, and I realized she DID NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. It was a blank refund slip. Our breakfast outing was ruined. I had to drive back home to give my kids water, after I had paid for one. I sit here very saddened as I write this review in hope that whoever owns this Wendy's will look into this. From reading other reviews, I noticed Charlotte has a pattern as well as other staffs and the reviews are synonymous. We do not put our worse staffs as front staffs. There is no reason why a location this prime should have such low ratings! I only went as I was desperate. On a normal day, I will avoid it just from the star rating next to it on my Google map. Yes people make judgments based on these things, do not sleep on it. You as a business owner is losing profit margins because of this. And it starts with your employees, Definitely Manager and front end staff. I have been in hospitality management for years! Everything I have ever ordered from here comes exactly as ordered to the smallest detail. One night I placed an online order for a special they had going for 4 burgers & 4 medium fries. It was pretty close to closing, which I felt pretty bad about, but the employee that helped me when I got to the window was great. I guess I had ordered the fires with no salt by mistake when placing the order, & she was willing to make a whole new batch of fries just for me, even though they were about to close. Of course I told her that wouldn't be necessary, but I thought that was amazing customer service & that most places would just give you the fries with salt that were already made & not say anything, considering it being so late. If you're going to Wendy's I the area, I definitely recommend this one, you'll get exactly what you want, & the best customer service.    Read morePlaced a drive thru order and had to end up going inside because my order was incorrect. I was met by the store manager Sarah who was very short and unapologetic. (Store was not busy and was not during peak hours)
I also had an issue with discount being applied for for the order. I gave Sarah the receipt to which she got me the correct item but never returned my receipt to me.
I ask her for the store # so that I may contact corporate to which she did not provide.
On top of all the nuggets we order were dislodged from the container and just thrown about in the bag.
A simple sorry / thank you for your business would have sufficed.
I realize this is Wendy's/Fast-food and I shouldn't expect much however this isn't the first time and it starts to get played after awhile.
I definitely don't recommend this store and would recommend you consider an alternative foe tour fast food need in the future.
