Willy's is like my FAVORITE fastish food restaurant. Last night my husband and I just so happened to find this one and I was in a horrible mood due to a situation we just had to deal with. Well those folks at Willy's don't know it, but they helped make things much better. First of all, I love Willy's so much that I think this is like my 3rd review on the franchise in general. That being said there's no need to go into how great the food is. This review is solely on the two young ladies working the front. The woman who took our orders had several people that she needed to fix food for. Her ability to multitask was VERY impressive. Even in my bad mood I took notice. She would take an order while working on the food for another order. I've seen several stores where they would have 3-4 working upfront. So seeing her do all of this was amazing to me. She also had no issues with the peach shake that I was sucking on. Like we didn't get kicked out for having it. (The Chick-fil-A was the original reason we got off on the exit. Peach shake season makes me happy. So my husband wanted to cheer me up with that, but then saw the Willy's across the street. It was like a miracle was waiting for us.) Anyway, after I got my taco and my husband got his quesadilla, we went to check out. The young lady at the register was just so precious. A little ball of sunshine. She saw that we had shakes and offered us water cups to go with our meals since we didn't need drinks. She also helped us get our military discount, and probably got me to smile for the first time since I had gotten into my bad mood. I was so grateful for the kindness. While sitting down to eat, my cheese had gotten hard. Not sure if going to the restroom caused that to happen, but basically my chips weren't dipping the way they were supposed to. So I asked if I could toss that one and get another one. The first young lady helped without batting an eye. I was able to go back to my table and dip my chips properly. Sometimes people don't always think to review positive situations. But I was having an unusually bad day. And I wasn't really my normal bright self. So these two women might not have even noticed that they were making a positive impact simply with their work ethic that day. I wanted to write this review to say thank you to them! I hope it gets...
Read moreWell, this is my first time going to this location. I read the reviews, and they were pretty good, so I told myself to check them out. I walked in, but I wasn't greeted. A Caucasian guy was there. I'm guessing he's new because I told him I would like the taco salad you advertised outside. He didn't know how to make the food. I understand when you know you don't know, you don't know. I used to work in food service, so I know how it goes. Gloves were not changed from the Caucasian guy and the African-American young lady; she had makeup on, and the other African-American Girl was cooking food and gossiping the whole time. It didn't look presentable; the food looked 3 or 4 hours old. The young lady was on the grill cooking with one hand and phone up to her ear, which I thought was unprofessional. You never know who will walk in and who will report you. I smiled at the young lady helping the caucasian guy. I said hello to her, and she just looked me up and down and went on about her business. I could have told the young man I didn't want the food and walked out, but he took the time to make the food. The food is cold. I stayed less than five minutes from this establishment. I had to ask for my receipt; you asked the customer would you like your receipt. There was no name to tell me who checked me out on my receipt; just horrible customer service. I'm very disappointed. 11.83 down the drain. ...
Read moreI am disappointed with how the Tucker, GA location has declined. Recent employees, have been so slow and seemingly uncaring and detached. Today was the worst in recent memory. First of all the glass through which food is seen was disgustingly dirty. We had to wait several minutes for the only person behind the line to acknowledge us and walk over to help. We could see at least 3 other employees but no one came to assist. The containers were filthy and looked as if they hadn’t been changed in days. Steam tables were up so high that the proteins were dried out as well as filthy utensils and lack of glove changing. The server used the same gloves to touch computers, money, and then my food. There was a large scoop of guacamole on the line from the time we ordered, until we departed ( I went back to look) whilst 3 employees ignored it and neglected to clean up. The spoons in the napkin and utensils area were placed in upside down so every person who reached for one touched all the spoon tops around it to pull one out. That’s was sufficient to make me not want to go back to that location...
