The inside is nice, better than previous establishment. They were able to warm it up. The chips were well seasoned and I really like the salsa. I got the chicken enchiladas which were tasty but a little too spicy for me. I like that they had black beans and the rice was good. The price point was very good. My husband got the Burria beef taco and the Guajillo chicken taco. He liked both, the chicken more. He liked that the tacos weren’t soggy and didn’t fall apart. He said the flavors were good. The prickly pear margarita was tasty. We got there around 5:30 on a Sunday and there was a 20 min wait for an inside table. We were able to get a seat at the bar. The service at the bar was good

Finally tried this place an a Saturday night. First I would say if there is a wait, leave and go somewhere else, its not worth waiting for. The service was Very slow. The food was ok, but not a game changer. I had (2) taco plate with , you guessed it Rice and Beans . They were small and just ok. The margarita was a big disappointment and to make it worse it was way overpriced. The place is nice but would not be my go to for Mexican cuisine .

Food was great. Our server was nice & as quick as he could be… the bartenders took FOREVER. I waited in line for a drink then my table was ready. It took 45 min for my drink I should’ve just ordered it at the bar 😭 the drink was very bland the second drink I ordered was the prickly pear it was way better but still took 45 minutes and we were ready to leave when it came.

First let me just say that Daisha was my server and as far as servers go, she was top notch! The atmosphere is cool and calm but the small table lights just about useless. The height of the light makes it in the way to see the person you are sitting with and if you look at all the tables that have this light you will notice that everyone has moved it out of the way. The food, I had the shrimp fajitas and they left the onion peel in my food and it was very unpleasant to pull 3 pieces of onion peel out of my mouth! Also beans and rice came with my meal and I didn’t eat it at all due to the rice not being cooked completely and the beans just weren’t good at all! One last thing, people barely trust restaurant silverware! You have black colored silverware…..that definitely can’t be trusted! All this said, I will come back once more to see if the necessary improvements have been made, seeing that this is training week! See you soon! Your local...

My wife and I had a late afternoon lunch; our first time back since the renovation. We were pleased to find a new menu and also liked the new look of the building interior. Brandon was our server and was very polite, informative, and very attentive. My wife had the bowl and I had the carnitas. The carnitas were beyond delicious and the meat was tender and full of flavor. My wife also enjoyed the bowl, which was alot of food and when she couldn't finish it, I was glad to. Whoever had the idea to do the makeover of the building and the menu hit a home run. For dessert we had the churros for desert. Delicious! They are made to order and smelled like a donut bakery, dusted with cinnamon sugar, drizzled with caramel, and chocolate on the side for dipping. When you eat at Rio Lobo and don't get the churros, you're cheating yourself. We will definitely be regulars...

Really good atmosphere, but we were over looked for about 15 minutes. The server Cayu? 4630 employee number didn’t greet or speak to us until my wife flagged him down to let him know we were here. He told us that our server never showed up but he went to every table in the section besides ours. He greeted and served a table that got sat 10 minutes after us that was right behind our booth. The best part of the experience was the dip sampler appetizer. I got a sirloin chimichanga that had the same ground beef that my wife’s taco salad had that advertised ground beef. This place has potential and we will be back to give it another try but as of right now there are definitely better Mexican restaurants...
