I had the pleasure of trying Wimpy's burgers recently. My first visit was great. The employee displayed impeccable customer service, the food was delicious, and service was in a very timely manner. However, I came back the next day to a much different experience with a different employee.
I walked in expecting a wait as it was more populated than the day before. The female employee informed me that there were only two of them, so there might be a wait. I said that's fine and patiently waited. After a few minutes the girl begrudgingly walked to the register with a very disgruntled attitude. She proceeded to take my order, but she really seemed annoyed that I was patronizing the business. As I ordered she frequently cut me off, rolled her eyes, and made snarky comments. After trying to correct her on my order and hearing another snarky comment, I decided to leave.
I understand she was stressed because it was busy and they were short staffed but at no point did I rush her or get aggressive with her. Her attitude was uncalled for. Read moreOkay I will try to make this short as possible…. Finally found this place(on poplar) and just wanted a good burger. I was looking at the menu on the wall as I waited. When I got to the register I continued to look at the menu. I saw the prices and thought this is very expensive for a burger. The lady with blonde hair greeted me and I told her my order. She broke everything down to me. She explained they don’t have a standard dressed burger. You can dress it anyway you want it based on the selections. I was looking confused and came off irritated but I laughed it off. She asked was I having a good day. I told her no, I was having a horrible day. She continued to smile and said she hope it gets better. She asked what was wrong. I said my car battery just died on me. She didn’t have to ask. She didn’t have to be extra nice when I came in the store with negative energy. I wasn’t rude. I just wasn’t bubbly. So I am going to give this establishment 5 stars because she gave me EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I really appreciate it and I will be coming back. Read moreIt was our first time to got to Wimpy’s and we will not be back. We walked in and there were two tables sure wormy in the restaurant. When the employee came to take our order, she seemed bothered that we were there and was not friendly. After completing my order, my husband wanted to add fried pickles. This meant she had to to a second transaction, she was not very happy and told me the pickles are not that great. Once we got our food, she was correct the pickles were not that great and scything was extremely greasy. I asked for a plate to share the pickles and her response we do not have plates. I was expecting her to offer us a basket the pickles came in but instead we had to use a napkin. as we liked around at the staff, everyone looked miserable to be there and not one time did they ever greet anyone...
