Longtime Anthony's fan. Last night a 10 star rating for Valentines Day dinner. We were sat immediately at 530 upon entering. Champagne to start followed by crab stuffed mushrooms. Fresh bread with old butter sliced perfectly so did not have to tear it apart to separate ( my pet peeve). Then split with my wife two dinners of Australian 9 ounce lobster dinner and a scallop dinner. A bottle of Duckhorn white wine Sauvignon Blanc was well worth the price and glad they carry such a variety of wines. Then desert: see the pics: small molten lava like chocolate desert with a heart cookie and ice cream with raspberry sauce to dribble over all was decadent. Watched one bartender keep up with entire restaurant while still serving 5 guests at the bar counter too. We rarely have an off night at Anthony's : tonight was perfect. And can't wait for my reservations at the Richland Anthony's Homeport during the Hydroplane races this July. Thank you Anthony's and our server for making this night as special as could be for my wife Laurie and I. And how can a romantic view over water be beat? My average check was high as I splurged on an awesome bottle of wine for this occasion.

After reading reviews for fried calamari my wife and I ventured out to gig harbor to Anthony's restaurant. This is exactly how we like our style, consistency and taste of calamari! So it took 15 minutes from being seated before being able to order something to drink and appetizer so we just ordered our meals as well. The service from that point on was quick with no complaints. We tried the wild northwest Cajun blackened rockfish special that comes with rice and greenbeans ($24)as well as the blackened rockfish tacos with chips and salsa($18) . Both options had a mango salsa. The cheaper rockfish tacos blew the special out of the water! Last thing to note: the kids fish and chips was listed as $10 and they charged us $12. I didn't feel like waiting 10 minutes for that to be fixed so we used the app to pay and left. Overall we were satisfied with our experience and meals . Final total with a $10 tip was an even $100 which may be a bit overpriced but it's Anthony's with a beautiful bay view so it is what it is

We were visiting Washington for a wedding and sight seeing. After a day of driving and light hiking at Mount Rainier with my family we were so hungry! We were turned down at another restaurant just down the road due to reservation requirements and likely how we were dressed. We found Anthony’s on Google and I’m so happy we did. They were so friendly right away and we were seated quickly. Our waitress Joji was great, she was knowledgeable about the menu and offered good suggestions. This place has a great selection of fresh catches but also catered to my picky eater, she ordered plain grilled chicken and rice. The atmosphere is laid back but busy. You can watch your food being cooked in the open kitchen and see the servers hard at work. The full bar is ready to serve you any drink you could want. There isn’t a bad seat to be had in the house, the views were spectacular. 10/10 recommended from these travelers from Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas & California!

I love Anthony's for the food, the view and the service. We have dined here many times and it is always excellent!! This was the first time I rated them at less than 5 stars. I felt really rushed by the service tonight. Usually, I enjoy taking my time and enjoying the evening especially when we spend over $200 for a dinner for two. Our appetizer came before our drinks! The usual hard lemonade with fruit of the season (which I always have) was terrible - the strawberry puree was very tart and lemonade very watery and the drink was way too strong - I tasted mainly water and vodka. So I ordered a different drink, after explaining I didn't care for the hard lemonade and the server didn't ask what was wrong with it, nor did she take the drink away or insist on taking it off the bill. With neither drink did she offer a straw, but my husband was given one with his beverageđŸ€”. We were never offered bread, we asked for it after receiving our meal. My husband is a faster eater than I. He was finished with his meal and I was only half way thru mine when the server asked us if we'd like dessert. (I had just gotten my second drink moments before, I was no where close to being ready for dessert). She brought us a dessert menu from which we ordered dessert along with coffee, but requested a few minutes. Our desserts came so quickly ... I was still eating dinner and nursing my drink. We were brought the check before I even finished dinner and started dessert. I was never offered more coffee, I was never asked how my meal was, I was never offered a to go box, and the drink I didn't like was still on the table when we left. Service is normally so good at Anthony's. My husband and I run a business and get so little time off to go out to eat. We always come to Anthony's when we do, but tonight was such a disappointment. I did not leave feeling decadent and relaxed as usual, but instead felt rushed and pushed out the door. We will continue to go to Anthony's, I just hope this server is trained better, or that we get someone better next time. Hopefully our experience can be used as a training...

So we've been to Anthony's here in Gig Harbor now, Kirkland, & Edmonds. I've always associated Anthony's with a great view and good fish. In Gig Harbor the view is still great. But that's where it stops. To quote my wife, "I feel like I'm on a cruise ship". Not from the outdated decor, but from the average food that tastes like it came off an assembly line. It was very average. My son didn't like his at all. But when we asked the server many details about my son's order he made it clear it was frowned on to send it back. So I swapped with my son. Aside from that, while our server was very knowledge about the fish & preparation, his lack of joy & personality put a cloud on our evening. The hostess, Destiny, was the only person who even smiled at us all evening. Our server and the rest of the staff made us feel like we were in their way. All I can say is this place lacks joy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not looking to be entertained, but when we're spending over $200 for 3 people we expect a pleasant time. Our server seemed irritated to have people ask him questions. Then just basic stuff like getting drinks refilled didn't happen. We were there when only 9 tables were there. Yet twice our drink glasses of water and empty. And not like we guzzled them. And both times we waited over 10 minutes before we eventually got up and found someone to refill them. Again, only 9 tables and there were at least 3 bus boys. But heck, if my wife's $20 drink got low they were by in the blink of an eye to try and get her another. Bottom line, most disappointing was the food... VERY average! But the service was minimalistic and not rude, but not enjoyable. It was clear or server wanted to do as little as possible and only cared to upsell to get a larger tip. If you want a good meal & enjoyable experience, and value what you get for your money, look elsewhere. Cause all this location has going for it...

We were on vacation and had eaten at Anthony‘s in Bremerton twice already. We decided to check out the Gig Harbor location because it was on the water. Nice facility, great views. However, apparently they had just had a busy morning so things weren’t running that smoothly. It took us forever to get our drinks, the soda was basically soda water, so they needed to change the kegs, and it took about 15 minutes for everyone to get new sodas and that was only after reminding the waiter. I ordered a berry Cosmo which I had had at the other location and was perfect. This time it was basically raspberry purĂ©e with some fruit in it. Way too thick. Didn’t taste any vodka at all. The brunch menu is very limited. Prices are high. I had the fish and chips and the two pieces of fish were so small, only a little bigger than your average fish stick. They brought the wrong salad for my stepmother, the waiter had misunderstood her order, when they brought the salad that she did want, it was missing an ingredient, so they substituted grapefruit for mango. As she got into the salad, she realized the avocado was missing so we tracked down the server and he brought her “more avocado” even though there was no avocado. All brunch dishes are supposed to come with homemade blueberry coffee cake and cinnamon butter. When we didn’t get any after 20 minutes, I asked about it, and the waiter said oh sorry, we’re out of that. I can bring you some sourdough bread and butter. On the upside, even though chowder wasn’t on the brunch menu he was able to bring me a cup. Overall, we wish we had eaten at a different restaurant. Our experience was not the same as at the...
