I worked for them for three months and it's a good working environment, however as I looked at the reviews of when I was around working for them I noticed reviews suffered... I'm now worried that if I go back to working for them their performance would end up suffering again because of me... I want to go back to working for them but I doubt the reviews would thank the store for hiring me back... But if I do go back I wanna work as a driver now that I have my license but it appears that no positions are open as I looked on the papa John's site and no positions are open for this branch of the chain... Now as from a food perspective all their ingredients are great along with their pizzas my favorites were the cheesy Alfredo, meatball pepperoni Papadias and other entrees I would recommend those if anyone gets a chance to order from them.... Overall a great store even to work for so long as you can keep up with the others and work well with others teamwork is key when working for them much like in most fast food chains.... Now as for my biggest gripes with them.... Price price price... Frozen pizza like digorno are better in price and taste.... Your wallet is gonna thank you if you ever want pizza as at the local Safeway down the other street near the local Fred Meyers costs like 8 dollars last I checked for a pizza equivalent to a works... Honestly there is a saying to go with this.... If you want it done your way do it yourself... And if any former customers do end up reading this please give this papa John's a second chance... I promise you will not regret it... Also just a tip if it does come back cold if you go for delivery... Some of their boxes comes with reheating instructions on the sides, back or front of the box make sure to look for that before reviewing... I promise you will not regret reading said instructions provided you have an oven... Anyways that's all I have for...
Read moreI usually love Papa Johns. In my home town we get the best service and great tasting hot pizza. Here in Gig Harbor WA, we had several issues. We ordered our three pizzas and was told a 36 minute wait.. We ended up waiting over an hour (they are literally down the street .2 mile distance) and when we called, we were told “we forgot to ask for your hotel room number” by a man named Dylan. Okay? So the store didn’t think to call us and ask? They left our pizzas at the store and us waiting without contacting. Then our pizzas arrived, the man did not bring our plates, napkins, or parmesan. He started to tell us “well you have to ask..” and then we stopped him and told him we asked TWICE. He said he would come back. He did not come back. The hotel staff brought us them after he asked them too. The store manager called us a few minutes later. Thankfully, we got our pizzas hot and they refunded our entire order. I’m giving this place two stars for their lack of communication and their horrible service. At least the manager was kind. I wish I could have got his name...
Read moreNever again. One pizza arrived with Ranch dressing smeared over the entire pizza instead of pizza sauce (see pics). They gave no refund or replacement, despite it being not what we ordered, except a free pizza "next time" that the manager would make a note of in his "black book."
The manager said that it was a system mistake that they will fix and said to call corporate. Corporate said that they would call back in 48 hours. They haven't yet.
The entire order was lukewarm anyway when it arrived, but after dealing with trying to give them the opportunity to correct the problem with no result, everything was cold. That's fine for the bottles of soda, I guess. I ate a microwaveable meal from my freezer instead of Ranch covered pizza.
The manager said that the drivers fight to deliver to our place because we tip well. If this is how they treat their supposed favored customers, look out if you aren't one... or look out if...
