Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Gilbert

I’m not much for fast food, YET we stopped here for an evening meal on the go (yesterday early evening — 05/29/2023). The restaurant was so clean, I was quite impressed. And, to my surprise they offer a black bean burger! I ordered it for myself and was able to have it made just the way I wanted, with my preferred toppings. It was freshly made and delicious! Everything was great, including the French Fries were hot and truly tasty! They have to have some of the VERY BEST French Fries I’ve ever had! I could tell the oil that the fries were cooked in was also clean. That makes a difference with fast food! I also really like that they have a wide range in selection for sauces and seasonings to take with. The entire staff (cashiers and cooks) and manager were TOP NOTCH ROCK STARS with enormous kindness, supreme service and professionalism! They were all accommodating and very proud to represent their restaurant and company. The entire staff acknowledged me while there, from greetings to recommendations, and even following up with my specific requests. Phenomenal hospitality you don’t expect while in a fast food restaurant! I recommend this location! It was my first time having Freddy’s, yet it won’t be my last! The gentleman cashier even thanked me again as I walked toward the door! I was pleasantly impressed! My experience here was not great. We ordered a mini pc & b sundae and a regular size mint n' concrete. The gal at the register was in training, but we didn't know that until she mixed up the 2 orders and we got the wrong order. The guys in the back did seem concerned for how long it was taking them to get our order out, but it didn't mean much when they brought out a cookies n cream concrete, no mint. I brought up the cup to the gal who brought it to me and let her know what I ordered. She said "oh no it's ok, I'll make you a new one! And if you want to, I can bag this one up and you can take it home!" I was hesitant because I don't like to waste food, but accepted the offer. I let her know what I wanted and then she came out with a chocolate concrete with mint syrup. At this point, I wished I stayed home and had gotten ice cream from the grocery store. I told her I didn't order that and that I wanted a mint n' concrete, vanilla custard. She went back and made the correct one, finally. She didn't give me the concrete that she said I could take home with me... All was good, until I was in my car and the cup had a hole in the bottom so it was leaking all over my pants. The customer service was the only good part of the experience. They seemed to try too hard to make up for bad experience... So I gave it only 2/5 stars for that. I will not be returning to this...

This location is always so slow... On my first drive thru, I waited over 7 min. I received the wrong burger, and no side of pickles. After driving home I realized this and drove back because my husband wouldn't eat the burger they messed up. We got there and the customer service was awful, we told them that they messed up our order and they went radio silent. Finally someone came on and said ok do you want us to remake it? He said yes and asked them to remake my burger too because it was cold and soggy at this point, and i wasnt going to eat without him. After waiting another 6 and a half minutes, they gave us our food and we left. When we got home we opened the bag and our food was still messed up... My husband's burger only had 2 patties, and his onions weren't grilled as asked. My remake was poorly wrapped and had way too much onion all at the top in one spot and the "side of pickles" was tucked into the paper. We ate it anyways because we were starving, and as I finished my burger I bit into a jalepeno when i ordered the California triple.... and didn't add jalapeños
