Food is great! We love the place, have been there multiple times. However, at our last visit, we walked in and went to the front to order and look over the menu. About 60 seconds after we had walked in, the staff greeted us with ‘welcome in’ per usual. Then a shorter blonde woman came in behind us and began yelling at the workers. It became clear that this woman was either the manager or the owner. She started berating the employees for not having greeted us the minute we walked in and saying that they needed to do better and always be looking at the front. It made us feel very uncomfortable as customers because we were waiting to order while this was happening. We ordered our food, then waited for it while realizing the same lady was having what seemed to be an employee intervention in the lobby with a shift lead who was translating everything for her to the employee having the intervention. There was arguing, harsh words exchanged and overall a really uncomfortable vibe in the restaurant. It felt as though they seemed fine with it because it was all happening in Spanish. My entire party spoke Spanish however, so it was very awkward.

Employee discipline - got it. Fine. In front of the whole store?? Sour taste in my mouth about this place now.. if I was working there, I would have up and left the second that woman started yelling.
