Valley Taproom — Restaurant in Gilbert

Valley Tap is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Gilbert. They’ve got an awesome rotating selection of microbrews, with a mix of local Arizona beers and national options, plus a nice variety of wines if you’re not in the mood for beer. It’s always fun to try something new every time I stop in.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming. They’ve got a shuffleboard table and plenty of games to keep things fun, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends.

But what really makes Valley Tap stand out is Marissa. She’s by far the highlight of the bar — extremely attentive, friendly, and just genuinely great at what she does. She always makes us feel welcome and keeps the experience top-notch. Honestly, she’s a big part of why we keep coming back.

The valley tap room is just an amazing atmosphere! Very friendly, stellar customer service, enjoyable crowd, and a really fun experience oriented menu. The menu/options are all displayed with TVs and each selection of beverage is well described so that you can order based on your preference or get a little bit adventurous and experiment new tastes. The staff was consultative and educated on the beer selections as well. If you work up an appetite, they have nearby options that get delivered or if you’re lucky like us you might find yourself there for a special occasion having food or entertainment surprises already there!! We were up early and decided to stop in. I had a Jerry’s Berries sour. He asked the bartender to choose for him. He ended up with a Recursion IPA. He had two so it’s safe to say he enjoyed them.

To our surprise, the bartender was actually the owner, Donald. We had an excellent conversation and his choice of music was superior. P
