I was excited to try this new breakfast spot. Sadly I was disappointed with the food and the service.
We arrived around 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th. We were told there would be about a 5-minute wait which was fine. We were sat within that time frame and we ordered right away. We proceeded to wait for over 20 minutes for our food making this one of the slowest breakfast meals I think I've ever had. During that wait there was a faulty light bulb above us causing a strobe effect which made casual conversation difficult. The server that we had wasn't rude but also wasn't polite.amd lacked any personality.
As for the food, I ordered biscuits and gravy which came out warm at best, not hot. Then there's the issue with the ratio of biscuit to gravy. The biscuits are nearly 3 in tall and we're not open-faced like I'm used to so taking one bite resulted in way too much biscuit and not enough gravy leaving a dry mouthfeel. I remedied that by cutting my biscuit in half, but once I did that, there was not enough gravy to cover all four halves. The gravy itself was extremely salty. My wife ordered the granola pancakes with blueberries and she described them as buttermilk pancakes with raw oats and blueberries where the "granola" did the pancake a disservice for being tasteless. She also had a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and I've never seen scrambled eggs with such little volume to them. Normally scrambled eggs are airy and fluffy so I'm not sure if they didn't whip them enough or if the eggs were just on the stale side.
Sadly, I probably...

The food here is fineâaverage brunch with decent portion sizes and pricing comparable to other East Valley spots. However, the service was lacking, especially compared to the many excellent brunch options nearby.
We waited 5-10 minutes after being seated, and no one even brought us water. After flagging down another waiter, he found our waitress, who casually said, âOh, I knowâI didnât get to them yet.â That might have been understandable, but she then went to another table that arrived after us and took their order before even stopping by ours. A simple glass of water within the first 10 minutes would have gone a long way.
Even after she finally took our order, we never received water throughout the entire meal.
Other service issues included: No check-in to see if we needed more creamer for our coffee (we had to grab some from an empty table nearby). No offer of condiments like ketchup for our hash browns. No follow-up to see if we needed anything else.
In comparison, youâll find much better service and atmosphere at nearby brunch spots like Eggstasy, Another Broken Egg, Broken Yolk, First Watch, Hash Kitchen, Henhouse, Snooze, Cafe Morning Buzz, or Humble Bistro. Many of them are within 5...
Read moreCrazy morning it was... Been to i10 location and never had any issues... Found this location by chance and not a great encounter .. the server though was amazing and attentive and wholesome smiles sincerely... Manager after being informed was similarly sincere... I never complain to get discounts or food removed from the bill... That's very rare... But this time more should have been done to resolve the totality of a very poor meal of a burnt black French toast which was the only thing removed from the bill.... Brisket omelette which had more grease and nearly 100% fat no meat made the meal more grease, covered the eggs, and the taters were saturated.... The best part of the meal was to repeat the service of Elizabeth I recall.... Constant touching base politely, and getting things done quickly if needed... And the new French toast although properly cooked the 2nd time was nearly 15 minutes to get to the table.... Honestly disappointing.... Now that all said negatively, the facility looked clean and nobody was loafing during work that I could see. Bottom line service saved the terrible meal.... I will go back 1x and if it's still sub par then this location will likely lose a customer who loves this small family...
