Sauce Pizza & Wine — Restaurant in Gilbert

Absolutely love Sauce Chicken Pesto Pizza. I order mine with no tomatoes or fresh mozzarella and 2 extra portions of pesto chicken . I only come here for the pizza and service that I get when the manager Jaiden is working. I always call to make sure she is there before I order so I know I will get my pizza the way I like it and she seems to be the only person who knows how to make it the right way and I appreciate that extra care and attention I get when I come here and she is taking care of my order. Being an extremely picky person I am very hard to please and that upsets most places I go to which makes me feel uncomfortable . I'm glad I don't have to feel that way which is why I eat here so often. I hope they train more employees to have care and consideration for their customers that Jaiden has . I will continue coming here because I enjoy service and smiles I get from Jaiden who is very dedicated to her job and has a genuine interest in her regular customers and their wellbeing . It's nice that she noticed I had missed coming in on one of my regular days when I was really ill , she took the time to check up on me when I didn't think anyone even knew me as a regular customer. Thanks Jaiden for making me feel so much better knowing that you appreciate me as a regular customer here . I appreciate everything you do here . I also love the pizza so please don't quit working...

Pains me a bit to write this because we love the food here including the salads and pasta options. We have come here often over the past few years. However, we had a recent bad incident which their mgmt will not correct. In short, they were busy and some of our food never came after checking a couple of times. After an hour past (we had somewhere we needed to be), we just asked for the refund portion of the food that never came. The cashier actually offered to do a full refund. I said sure. I had paid by credit card. So on the refund transaction, I asked if he needed my card to refund. He said no. After a week, I returned and noted I never saw the refund on my card. After a little research, they said it was refunded as cash. I noted that's odd because almost everywhere, they usually refund the same way it was paid. I stated that then when they counted their drawer at the end of the day, it should show over 50 extra in cash. Either way, the mgr stated it would be refunded to my card. After another 1-2 weeks, nothing. So, on principle, we will no longer go here. If they are reading this, they know who I am because I came back twice to inquire to have the issue resolved. Sad...

Hate to be that person leaving a bad review but it was really disappointing how badly everything went. Me and my boyfriend came to eat here after my suggestion and we were both so excited because we've had great experiences at other sauces before. This was our first time eating at this specific location and it was frustrating how little they paid attention to us. We ordered a Margherita pizza with olives and pepperoni on one half, and a pizza cookie after we finished. They came out with a cheese pizza, with olives and pineapple over the full pizza and when we asked for them to remake it because we realized just how wrong it was- they came out with our pizza cookie! We hadn't even ate yet! It took like another 20 mins for our new pizza to come out and it was still a cheese- not a margarita, and didn't taste cooked.
