Min Chung in Glastonbury, CT is a sushi restaurant that offers an all-you-can-eat menu with a wide variety of sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes. The sushi is delicious, and the all-you-can-eat option is perfect for those who love to indulge in their favorite sushi rolls.
The restaurant's atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed, but the seating could use some updates. Some of the leather seats are starting to peel and show signs of wear, which can detract from the overall experience. However, this is a minor issue that can be easily resolved with some updates.

Read moreThis is a tough review. I love their sushi! That is not the problem. My husband is from Glastonbury and whenever we come into town to visit his family, we eat at “the ghung”.
This year is different because we have a baby. After getting the baby to sleep at his aunt’s house, getting ready, and driving from West Hartford, we were so excited for our yummy dinner alone.
We had this planned all week. I checked the times on Google probably a dozen times to make sure we would have time to get there before they closed. I was so pumped!
We got there at 9:30, and the manager said they stop seating at 8:30 or 9 based on how many people are coming in. I told him his posted hours say that they close at 10:30. He said, “that’s what time we lock the doors and turn off the lights. We stop seating at 8:30 or 9.”
Now I am not an expert at this, but that seems a bit odd to me. I have worked in several restaurants and eaten at many many more. I have never known a place to have posted hours that have nothing to do with when patrons can be there and everything to do with when the staff is there cleaning up.
We were so bummed! We found another restaurant (whose posted hours actually meant something), but it wasn’t what we had been hoping for all week. So...
Read moreGiving this 3 stars based solely on the quality of the food. If this rating was based on service only it would get negative five stars. We should have known upon entering that the service would be lack luster when we weren't even greeted or seated. After seating ourselves we waited 10 minutes for anyone to even show up to the table. After giving us menus the server asked if we were the 6:30 reservation. Of course we were but there was no one to even seat us so making a reservation was in fact pointless. We ate off the all you can eat menu and never received our fist round of apps. When the sushi finally came out it had been over 40 minutes. Luckily they were quick to bring our soup the so the broth held us over. The sushi was delicious and we were ready for round 2. We asked for another sheet to order which took another 20 minutes to arrive at our table. At this point we considered walking out but decided to stay to give them one more shot. We ordered again and this time all the food came out but not in a timely manner. The food was great but they were severely under staffed. There was 1 server for an entire restaurant. This is not how you conduct business on a...
