Go to Naperville location instead of this one
Me and 4 of my friends went to dinner there yesterday to have sandwiches and chicken. It's one of our favorite restaurants like we like to go to. But yesterday we chose a different location known for bad reputation but we were like it's convenient and they might have fixed it already since the last time we went there. So we went to the Glendale Heights location and let me tell you the worst experience we ever had. First they had an attendant in the front who had no clue what she was doing there. Some underage kid working with headphones on, no greeting, no hi, no hello, how can I help you, none of that. We asked her a few questions from the menu. She had no clue what she was asking for, what she was answering, and what she wanted to do. No worries on that end. So we decided to move forward and order because we've been dining at a different location in Naperville for a while. So we decided to just go ahead and do what we regularly order. We ordered some burgers, some strips, leg and thigh burgers. We ordered medium flavor. They were not medium. There were no sauce on it. They were just plain fried burger. We ordered the normal chicken sandu, regular sandwiches. They were just plain. No flavor whatsoever, no spices. No pickles in the sandwich as well too. They were just hardly put together. The chicken strips, we also ordered them medium. They were fried, burnt, with no flavor on them. The leg and thigh, oh my god, that was the grossest leg and thigh I have ever seen in my life. Extremely extra burnt, crispy like you're eating chips, and just the inside was just all pink, like stale old chicken that they reused over and over again. So we ate the sandwiches. We all split the tenders. The chicken leg and thigh went in garbage. They do not have fountain drinks, so you gotta order like kids apple juice and orange juice for your side drinks. They give you homemade napkins and they'll count people and give you like exact one napkin per person. The whole experience yesterday was just horrible and I think it was like $120 wasted in that restaurant.
I also know the corporate people for all the franchises as well since I was trying to get one for myself. I have sent them the same email describing all the situation that...
Read moreFirst time visiting this place on a Friday afternoon and it was empty. Food came quickly and it was good. We had the Sando combo, Sando Jr sandwich and the Spicy Korean nuggets. Chicken was good, medium was a little too spicy for me but it wasn't too bad. Now with the combo you get a drink and when I went to get my soda I saw a strange sign on the fountain machine - Please only one refill per customer. That was the topic of conversation while we waited for the food to come. Why even have such a sign in America where we love our sods with our burgers and fries? I can go the McDonald's, BK, Taco Bell, Wendy's with 10 people and we can all share one drink and get as many refills as we want and no one will say anything. How big of a problem was it before the sign had to go up? Or was is it a pre-emptive gesture which basically ended up cheapening the vibe. It would be much better for the establishment to either move the fountain behind the cash register or discontinue fountain and offer cans.
When we got our food we noticed another thing. Two napkins were provided with each dish and a couple of forks. We wanted a spoon for the rice and I looked around for an area with cutlery but couldn't find it. Come to find out cutlery and napkins are kept behind the counter. Imagine a family with kids during a lunch rush or a dinner rush. Would they have to get up and ask for extra napkins trying to get the attention of the person taking customer's orders or the person bringing the food out? At what cost do you cut costs where it starts to reflect poorly on the...
Read moreAlthough the food is good the person in the front has the worst attitude. He’s the guy in the beard. I acts as if he’s the owner but constantly argues with customers. I go her all the time and always hope I don’t have to see his face. Make sure to bring your own napkins because you will only be given 1 per meal and that’s it. I asked for a few because I was with kids and was told 1 is enough for your meal. Never in America I’ve heard a fast food that denies food. Once in a while you will deal with the Hispanic staff that works in the kitchen and it’s a pleasure. But the bearded guy I think his name is Wasim is going to bring this place down. It’s employees like him that drives all the customers away. I believe he used to work at another fast food around in Glendale heights and had the same bad attitude. I hope they can put him in the back and maybe have someone else who can provide some good service. I used to tell everyone about how good their food is but now I’ll be adding a comment about their service. So if you want to get insulted and treated like you’re back home then his is the place to go. Where only the employee that takes your money is right and customers can go to hell. Try another hangry joes and you’ll know the difference. Or even the Taco Bell across the street who has...
