Hello google reviews,
This is my first review and for good reason. This cup bop located at Westgate is not only Phenomenal at customer service but their food is amazingly top-notch as well!
A little bit about me my name is Ryan and I have stage four cancer. Cupbops food, And mainly their sauce makes it possible for me to eat food During my chemotherapy.
I would like to tell you my story: I went in one day with me And my three year-old son to pick up some Cupbop, because I was feeling really good and didn’t want to do delivery. I normally order delivery, but there is no way to order more sauce, so I wanted to ask directly.
I met with a young gentleman who I cannot remember his name And I didn’t mention anything to him other than ordering my food, and then asking him if I can pay for extra sauce because it’s so delicious! I asked for an extreme Number, expecting to be told no that they could only provide one or two extra. I asked for 10 the reason for this is not all for just the cup, but also to make Ramen using their sauce because it makes it Even better without questioning he said absolutely I can make you 10. He made my cup bowl and had his other coworker start with making the sauces. Was so blown away by this that I decided to tell him why I was asking for the sauces he was helping out a complete stranger with a ridiculous request before finding out that I even had cancer, and that it would help me tremendously having this extra sauce.
While paying for my food, he said to me come in anytime and I will give you this much sauce anytime that you need I would be more than happy to help. I left with a $16 order but I left paying 36 leaving the largest tip, I've ever left at a fast food restaurant.
After leaving, I have Yet to follow up with that gentleman and asking for that much sauce again. I have had since ordered multiple times through Grubhub and every time I request to extra sauces, and they have been provided for me every time The food is amazing but the customer service for me is through the roof.
In a world that’s normally so awful. It’s so nice to finally see somebody care about somebody else without any expectations. I swear by Cupbop both in quality and service. Thank you for...
Read moreAfter a night of running errands, I decided to try Cupbob for a late dinner. I didn't realize it was located in Westgate, or I would've reconsidered my options. (I found it by searching Google Maps for vegetarian food on my way home). The parking at Westgate, while vast, was full. I drove up and down aisles and just when I was going to give up and go home, I saw a spot.
I arrived at the restaurant at 8:00pm (they close at 9pm) I was the only customer. I asked the person taking my order for the most popular vegetarian dish and they told me which options were vegetarian instead. So I rephrased my question and they told me the veggie bop was, followed by the comment that the veggies had been sitting there all day and might not be good! Haha, well I appreciate the honesty. I ended up taking my chances with the old veggies. You have some options after that, like rice, noodles, and sauce. I got the medium sauce, which is most likely just Mayo with hot sauce in it, at different levels of hotness. They put SO MUCH sauce on it. It's like eating a bowl of mayo. There was also some sugary sauce that went on, I have no idea what that was.
The food was so-so. The sauce had a tiny kick to it, I'd call it a low medium, but it was a good spiciness level considering the large amount they put on the food. I wouldn't want my food drowning in anything too spicy or it would overpower the food. The food was really filling and I couldn't finish it. It was served in a take-out dish with a lid, so it was easy to put the lid back on and take it home. Based on taste alone, I can't say I was impressed with the meal or that I'd ever want to go back.
A note on the dining room: The drink station and tables needed to be cleaned up. The floor was sticky. The restaurant was dead and someone could've easily had the time to tend to the...
Read moreNot wheelchair friendly. Probably wheelchair accessible with the help of a strong walking individual. Company would benefit from training (with management, staff and advertising). staff uninformed what items are being advertised (on both the interior and the exterior) of the establishment. Staff appeared to be bothered, annoyed, and frustrated around open (11am is open). Staff would benefit from new management or management support. Management did not provide staff with appropriate tools to be successful and helpful at scooping hot food into a bowl and checking customers out in a timely fashion. Work station is untidy and messy. Work station tools leaked into other customers' bowls while employees squeezed sauce into another bowl. Sauce was all over and not wiped after having spilled. Employees do not appear to be made aware not to pour food over other people's bowls. Emploees have not been trained or provided with basic skills (ie; problem solving, cleanliness, independent work). Staff tell another employee a problem and stand around waiting for a solution (while customers wait in line or have yet to be checked out). Establishment did not have napkins or bags for customers. Food is either not warmed up enough or check out not done in a timely fashion due to food being cold. Fountain drink stand is also unkempt and not clean. Would skip this place if you want napkins, friendly staff, hot food, cleanliness and an overall enjoyable experience.
They also offer some form of free item if you post a review. Keep in mind when reading...
