I visited the Americana outdoor location yesterday (7/6) and encountered an extremely rude and unprofessional employee. After waiting in the sun (it was at least 95 degrees)for what felt like forever for the cashier to finish ringing up a group of 4 young boys, it was my turn. Now, I wouldn’t say I’m an impatient person but there were 4 people clocked in at this time and only one person seemed to be actually doing anything. I walked up to the register and let the cashier know that it would have been helpful to have someone assist him and he immediately retorted “the other registers aren’t open.” His tone took me by surprise! I asked for a waffle cup and he said there weren’t any, I was visually displeased especially after waiting for so long. He then proceeded to say “what do you want me to do about it?” I could not believe my ears?! He continues his disrespectful and unprofessional behavior proceeds to say “tell me what you want or get out the way/off the line.” At that point I had to ask for the manager who was standing right next to him and didn’t intervene the entire time. To make matters worse, I ordered 2 scoops of very different flavors and there was barely any of the second flavor. I had a movie to catch so I could go back to let them know. Read moreWent today, Sunday the 23rd. Line was minimal, was 5 people long, once in line by the time it was my turn the line had ballooned to 10 to 12 yet they didn't open another register. Then once I placed my order, the clerk was disconnected, rude, looked like he would rather be anywhere else. So I repeated my order, but they didn't appear to like that, so once I paid with my card as I reached over to pull it out he quickly brushed my hand away and took my card placing it next to the register next to him. No reason, no explanation, just a "your order will be up". Who does that? Upon receiving my order, no card, so I had to ask for it, again, no reason, no excuse for taking it. Given this business is in a Caruso property you expect customer service to be top notch. The sundaes sell for $8.00 and given the lines, there should be no excuse for hiring quality service people. I always go to the one at Glendale Galleria it ai have the best service but today, my family and I decided to came here to enjoy the view and the service it was the worst We order 2 shakes and they messed up the order!
