While spending some days in Glendale, I wanted something that would be close to homemade. After looking for a place to park (no parking lot), I came in. As soon as I walked, I was greeted by a nice lady. She was so attentive that I felt like I was at my tia's house. She must have thought I was a local that she kept on telling me about other plates they offer. Superb service I felt like I walked into my tias house. The lady at front was so sweet and welcoming she recommended a lot of choices to choose from. Decided to get the pollo la plancha plate and their jalapeño con queso tamale. Let me tell you so freaking worth strolling around walking around the area and so satisfied the food reminds me of my tias cooking. Wanted something kind of close to hitting home. All of the authentic Mexican food is fresh, and made to order. The tamales on the weekend are a must.

Very limited seating and no reservations, walk in only, so be sure to get here right when open.

We always go here for breakfast, the Huevos Rancheros are the staple, as well as the chilaquiles. However, their mole sauce is homemade and recommended on the enchiladas.
