Pasta Varenna — Restaurant in Glendale

So, we had a hard day. We were worn out. Both my wife and I were emotionally exhausted. I was trying to name things for dinner and nothing sounded good. My wife said "Chicken Alfredo might be good." So I typed that into Uber eats an chose the first "alfredo" I saw. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. I also ordered the dulce de leche cheesecake for her, and the tiramisu for me. We are now both happy and laughing and having a great night.

This food tastes like they pulled it out of my cherished childhood memories of of getting my favorite Italian food on my birthday. (Specifically the memories of getting it on my birthday, because everything tastes better on your birthday.)

Honestly, when I ordered it, I wasn't expecting very high quality food because it really doesn't cost much. But we paused our movie to accept the delivery, and now we have finished eating everything and now I'm typing this review up to tell you to eat here and the movie is still paused.

I was seriously surprised to see that this place is part of "Crab Avenue" seafood restaurant, as Pasta Varenna does not taste like the bottom third of the back page of a menu. It tastes like I'm going to be getting this food regularly from now on. Especially when I've had a hard day.

I only gave it five stars because Google will not allow me to be as extra as this dinner makes...

I ordered food delivery, so cant comment on anything but the food. Not very good for the price. The caesar salad came with no dressing, which was pretty disappointing. Pasta was ok, but I would have expected more for what I paid. Got the chicken pesto ravioli, and I love pesto, but this was very bland pesto. The chicken was separate from the ravioli, and it was decently grilled, but didnt go all that well with the pasta. We also got the beef steak with tomato cream, and the steak was overdone. Garlic bread was also just ok. Won't...

So bad!! Omggg SO BAD!! I ordered their macaroni and cheese. Description says “made with fresh cheeses” I was so offended by the Kraft macaroni that I received. I’m not joking it was Kraft macaroni!! From that alone I would not order anything else as they obviously have no morals or standards

I also ordered the Nutella cheese cake and I swear it tastes like it was bought at the grocery store or Costco! Definitely not made in their restaurant. Such a terrible thing to lie to...
