I placed an order for delivery at 6:15 pm online. It said my order would be delivered in 45-50 minutes I started tracking the order at 7:00 to confirm if it was on the way. At 7:15 it showed my order was completed and delivered yet I had no food. I contacted Wingstop directly and they stated that their deliveries were all done through door dash and they were waiting for the driver to get there... as she put me on hold to see how long the order had been waiting the driver got there and she confirmed the food was on the way... my food did not get delivered until 8:00pm. The food was cold and the fries were mushy... again I contacted Wingstop to let them know the driver did not deliver The food for an additional 45 minutes even tho we live 7 minutes away... at that point I spoke to the manager Angelina and she told me I needed to contact door dash for a refund and she was willing to replace all the food for free. I called door dash customer support and due to covid19 you can not talk to someone you have to go online and chat so I did that I waited 9 minutes for a chat guy to answer and assist me. I told him exactly what happened and what the manager at Wingstop told me and he stated I needed to contact Wingstop back and have the manager contact them since I ordered on Wingstops website and not doordash and he ended The chat before I could even respond. I contacted Wingstop back and again spoke to the same manager who was so helpful she placed me on hold to see what she could do for me.. when she came back she stated she was able to get my refund approved and she filed a complaint with door dash against the driver for closing out the order before it was delivered and taking 45 minutes to get me my food once he picked it up. I feel she went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of which she did not have to do since it was door dash who was wrong not Wingstop... thank you so much Wingstop for going above and beyond to keep your customers satisfied... we eat Wingstop a lot and we will definitely order again. That’s no problem, we sit at the bench right in front of the counter and wait. People come and go as we sit there for thirty minutes and then we ask how much longer? Come to find out, the bag sitting in the window was ours, leaking grease, and had been sitting there almost as long as we waited for. They didn’t apologize, just shrugged their shoulders. Again, we had sat there for thirty minutes, right in front of them waiting and they didn’t tell us it was ready nor check on us once. So I ask them to remake it and they respond with an attitude that sure, they’ll do it but it’ll take 15-20 minutes. So we wait, they remake it, and we leave.
