We ordered with a good attitude, nothing was supposes to even go the way it went. Once we arrived to the window to receive our food, she basically threw our food to us, our drinks were given tu us very rudely. My boyfriend received the drinks and when they were given to him they broke the lid because of how she threw the drinks so the dri ks spilled on him, when we asked for a new lid we weren't even given the correct lid and she just closed the window trying not to deal with us anymore, keep in mind this was the manager the whole time being rude to us, she didn't even ask us if we wanted ketchup or anything, she flat out closed the window after giving us the incorrect lid. So we were curious to see if our order was even correct, so we're looking for a receipt but there was none so we parked out front to step inside and ask for one. The nice young American lady helped us with that, she on the other hand was extremely nice, so when she asked the manager for the receipt she had told her that she needed to go through the back window to give us our receipt, and I'm not sure if she didn't know whether I could speak Spanish or not, but the manager, which was the same one who was rude to us at the widow, had yelled out to the other Hispanic workers there that spoke and understood Spanish asking if the "fat" one had given me my receipt, body shaming her in Spanish, a language the young American lady couldn't understand to talk bad about her, to humiliate her. So once she came to give me my receipt I has mentioned to her what the manager was saying about her and she thanked me. Read moreI don't know what it is like during the day, it very well could be fine. But at night, because of the horrendously rude service, and almost complete inability to put in your bag exactly what is on your receipt. This has become, hands down, THE most poorly managed and operated fast food restaurant, not only in Glenwood Springs, but likely anywhere in the United States West of Chicago, at least that I have ever been to anyway. And that is a real shame, because I have been going here for 20-25 years or more. And years ago when I first moved to Glenwood Springs it used to be one of the best managed places, in the whole valley. And by far, the best Wendy's I had ever been to in any state. If someone forced me at gun point to find one positive thing to take away from my past half a dozen visits there. Read moreWent through drive-thru. Food was good, service sucked. Food was tasty and fresh. Order taker was okay, didn’t have an issue at first. I got to the window, and I was parked so they could make my food fresh. 👍🏼. Then, they forgot my receipt when they brought my food out. They came back out with my receipt and they forgot my soda, didn’t bring a spoon or straw for the single frosty that I did want to pay for, and they overcharged me for an extra frosty. I went inside to get a refund for the extra frosty I was charged for, my soda, and a spoon. The manager was impolite, didn’t apologize one time for the inconvenience. Most of them seemed put out that I was even there, overall a frustrating experience after a long day at work.
Would only go through the drive thru again, definitely making sure I always double check everything...
