My first impression was , wow crowded and if you took a Starbucks and made it a " trendy/ farm fresh" restaurant. Here is my Pros and Cons .
Pros: The food quality is certainly up there. It's not your usual diner / greessy food or burnt coffee place. Plenty of staff. Relatively clean . Kid friendly menu with a good size portion. The Waitress was attentive and polite. Parking was available. Table and bench option. " Bar" area for single seating. I like brunch places personally. The menu has good variety and prices are fair. For a family of 3 I spent $36 plus tip. I had the Bocado omelette and would suggest it.
Cons: when we walked in , we were ignored for about 5 to 8 minutes or so. The host was in the back and there was only 1. The other staff didn't bother letting us know till we asked. It's not very obvious where to go to check in. The open layout doesn't help with the noise. They could of done something to help with that . So not very easy to hear the person across from you in my opinion. I wouldn't suggest leaving the " clean cup tray " near the bathrooms. The spacing is a little close to other people's. They don't seem to be able to accommodate a large party. Maybe with putting table together. I like the brunch thing, but why close early ? I really don't like that trend. The Whitman diner down the street was first in the area to start that.
All and all I would suggest going, but not enough to get me to drive out of my way to go there. We are just too spoiled with diners in Jersey. This isn't a. " New" thing for us. I'm curious how they will fair once they've been around for a year or so more.

Read moreFirst Watch is a chain, and we have been to several in different states. This was our first time at this location, the newest in our area. We celebrated Mother's Day, and management immediately informed everyone about wait time in the kitchen. It was Mother's Day, and it was naturally busy. They were even kind enough to provide a buy one get one voucher for a future visit. The food was great, but we have to knock it down one for service. We ate outside, and a nearby umbrella offered some relief from the sun in our eyes. We moved it a little to for some more relief, but a staff member immediately snapped at us. We didn't take the umbrella away from any other diners, and it certainly did not obstruct any staff. Near the end of our meal, she took it upon herself to move the umbrella completely away from us and sat useless for anyone else and stacked some chairs. We asked a different staff member who was bussing some tables if we could move the umbrella and if it was causing a problem. It was not a problem, and we were fine to move and use it. Small detail that seems trivial, but the same woman followed us when we brought our check to pay. She wasn't even our server. But when the cashier gave us another voucher, the woman immediately said that we already received one and made another comment. We were happy to give it back, but the cashier smiled and told us to keep it. It really made us feel like we wronged this woman in some way, but we don't think we did anything wrong. Otherwise, it was...
Read moreWe came in for brunch this afternoon and Aliany was our server. As two people who work in the service/bartending industry, we are VERY understanding. What didn’t sit right with us was the fact that it was very slow, only three tables in the entire restaurant, and our server let us sit there without ordering food or drinks for 20 mins while she sat and talked to the table in front of us. Once we placed our order, our food arrived before our sangria pitcher. When our drinks were finally brought over the glasses that were provided had melted ice in them, like they had been sitting for awhile. It was stated that the pitcher had to be made fresh, which should be the case anyway so it just seems that was an excuse for the lack of professionalism and service that was provided. The table next to us had been sitting for 20 mins, having been done their food and waiting for the check, while she sat again at the table in front of us to continue talking. As we were leaving, a couple was sat in our section, they were waiting for approximately 10 mins, staring at her, while she continued on with her conversation. Again, working in the industry we are very understanding and never ever think to complain as we get that it can get busy and hectic. But this on a very slow day is...
