Johnny Longhots - Sicklerville, NJ — Restaurant in Gloucester Township

I'm mad that I waited so long to come here! I've been looking for a place that makes tuna hoagies on par with the philly shops with the sharp provolone and seeded rolls. I finally found a place and they are right down the street! You get that Philly hoagie vibe without having to go across the bridge. The pizza is good too. Not amazing, but solid. The sausage parm was also good. The cheesesteak was just ok unfortunately. The one I got was one of the specialty ones though. I'd like to try a plain one to test them again, but I am very particular about cheesesteaks and I think every spot in jersey ranges from terrible to meh. We recently went to the one in Wildwood. This is 100% NOT that. Nothing remarkable about the cheese steak I ordered. Whereas the JLH in Wildwood had really good cheese steaks, the one here in Sicklerville isn’t on a par. The meat seemed different and definitely meager portions there. Looked a tad undercooked. Greasy and bland. Typical NJ pizza shop cheese steak, nothing special. Even the French fries were different. If you care about your brand, everything should be the same. Won’t be coming back here. Although the waiters were nice I did not like was the pricing. I have visited the other Johnny Longhots and I’ve had great service. What I didn’t like was they told me over the phone that my food was $25 which is fine I got into pay and he told me it was $29 and I said OK I didn’t mind it When I paid for my food he told me that there was a 3% charge no matter what kind of card you used and it came out being $31.
